When dinner was done and all the Seijoh boys were done scarfing down their food, you handed out the keys to their room. Oikawa was not where in sight so you just shrugged and gave it to the more reliable Iwaizumi who was his roommate for the remainder of the camp.

Once you were done with that task, you saw Kiyoko in the corner of your eye. "Hey! I haven't been able to talk to you all day, how are things going?" Kiyoko was sitting by herself with her normal expression, ignoring Tanaka and Nishinoya.

"It has been tiring but a good day. Everyone seems to be working hard." Kiyoko looked over at her team, a small smile forming on her lips.

"Ah well that's good, I feel the same. I think everyone on Seijoh is bringing their luggage to their rooms. Hopefully they will take showers after." You laughed, but a bit worried. With all these teams here, it sure did stink up the place, and quickly too.

For awhile, you and Kiyoko talked a lot. The dining hall grew more and more empty until it was just the two of you. "Well we better head off to bed, it's getting late." You said, looking at the time. Kiyoko was fixing to say bye until your phone started to ring. "Iwaizumi?" You mumbled to yourself.

"I'll let you take that. Goodnight Y/N." You waved to her as she walked away, now picking up the call. Though you were a bit confused.

"Hey, is everything okay? It's getting late." You questioned as soon as you picked up the phone. You walked out of the dining hall, not knowing of a reason why Iwaizumi would be calling you.

You heard Iwaizumi sigh. This could not be good. "I've been waiting in my room for Oikawa and even brought his stuff up here. I've been texting him but he's not answering." Just then, you walked by the gym, hearing the sound of a volleyball hitting the ground.

"I know where he's at. I'll take care of this." Before he could say anything else, you hung of the phone and stomped into the gym. "Oikawa Tooru! What did I say last time about over working yourself!" You did not even have to see him to know he was the one in there. But when you finally saw him, it was a sight you weren't expecting. "Dang it Oikawa..." you mumbled to yourself, running over to him.

He was sitting down on the ground, clutching his knee in pain. Had he not learned from you are Iwaizumi scolding him? He knows better. "Y/N?" He wore a pained and disappointed expression. His gaze then went to the ground. After a bit of silence with you gazing at him, he started to speak again. "I tripped and hit my knee while practicing." The captain sighed in frustration.

'Ah, that's why it's so bad...' his knee seemed to have direct contact when he fell. That is what you figured in your mind anyway. "I'll be back, and don't you move a muscle." You ran as quickly as you could back to the dining hall and kitchen area to get some ice for his knee, trying your best to keep your footsteps light and not too loud.

Entering the dining and kitchen area, you went to the back to the freezer and filled up a plastic bag with ice. "This is so not good." You felt panicked, your heart racing faster than normal. 'What if he really hurt himself this time?' That thought kept replaying in your head as you ran back to the gym to tend to Oikawa.

"Okay I'm back, let's get you taken care of." Sighing softly, you took a seat next to Oikawa on the ground. While putting the ice pack on his knee, you looked into his eyes. Those eyes never seemed so sad before.

"Oikawa..." taking your hand off the ice, you placed your cold hand on his cheek. His eyes finally met yours which made you smile. "Hey...I'm-I'm not going to tell you it's okay because it's not." Even though your words seemed harsh, your tone was soft. You knew the pain. "You aren't going to be able to play in tomorrow's practice match."

Oikawa opened his mouth to protest your statement, but he knew he couldn't. There's no way the coach with let him because chances are, Oikawa is definitely going to have a limp along with his swollen knee.

You moved your hand from his cheek and to his hair, brushing the strands away and back into their normal position. The setter leaned into your touch. Even though he knew he probably had disappointed you, in this moment all he wanted was comfort. He had built up a wall for so long, but right now it is finally starting to crumble down.

"Iwaizumi is going to bring hell loose onto me when you finds out." Oikawa chuckled a bit, not wanting to have to face his friend.

"Yeah, he called me asking where you were. I told him I would take care of everything." You smiled at him once again. Not as his manager, but as his friend you just wanted to make Oikawa feel better. Grabbing his hand, you scooter closer to the captain but only to have him take his hand away. Instead he wrapped his arms tightly around your waist.

"I'm sorry Y/N..." he mumbled softly, not letting his grip become lose. Even though you felt a bit selfish, you enjoyed this moment with the Captain.

After awhile if hugging, you pulled away. "Let's get you to your room okay?" You stood up first and then wrapped an arm around Oikawa, helping him up to his feet. He was bigger than you, but it was nothing you could not handle. He relied some of his weight on you as you helped him along the way.

The trip to his room was a bit of a struggle, but it worked out all okay. Opening the door , Iwaizumi was fast asleep, and boy did that make Oikawa feel very relived. You helped the injured male the free bed, and he laid down. A sigh came out of him as he looked at you. "Thank you Y/N...please get some rest and don't worry too much about me."

'Like I won't worry.' You sarcastically thought. "I'll be here to take care of you tomorrow...I'll have to take care of some other things but I'll be here." You whispered, trying to be as quiet as possible to not wake Iwaizumi. Crouching down a bit, you planted a kiss on Oikawa's forehead. "Now you get some rest. Goodnight Oikawa." Then you left. He did not say or do anything after that. All he did was touch the spot on his forehead.

A/N: I'm honestly not too happy with the writing on this chapter, I know my writing skills are really lacking but you can't improve unless you practice! Also I'll be starting a Haikyuu one shot book!
