Chapter Seven

Jungkook awoke the next day, and forgot where he was for a few moments. Then he realized: he was actually at Hogwarts! It was all he could do to keep himself from squealing. Taehyun was just starting to wake as well, and Jungkook could hear Terry snoring from behind his curtained bed.

Jungkook got out of bed, and he even shivered at the thought of being HERE, at HOGWARTS!

"Yah! Kookie! Are you cold or something?" Taehyun hopped out of bed, and folded his blankets neatly.

Jungkook didn't move for a moment. He had always seen the nickname "Kookie" as something reserved for Minguk's teasing, but no one else had called him that. EVER. Jungkook decided that he liked the nickname.

"Hello? Earth to Jungkook! Was it because of something I said?" Taehyun slapped his hands over his mouth. "Do you not like being called Kookie? I'm so sorry! I just thought it would be a good nickname! Unless- I'm sorry!"

Jungkook grinned. "Thanks Taehyun! I would love to be called Kookie! By you at least." Taehyun noticed Jungkook muttered the last part under his breath. Jungkook continued. "And if you call me Kookie, can I call you Tae?"

"No." came the short reply.

"Oh, alright!" Jungkook turned to Terry, who continued to snore. "Should we wake him?"

Taehyun nodded, and they approached Terry, who was unaware that he was about to be rudely awakened...

Jungkook's first week at Hogwarts were the best days he ever had in his entire life. Between the classes, the food, the friendships, the only thing really dampening his happiness was Minguk. Every time Jungkook passed him, or caught his eye, he would feel a chill that had nothing to do with temperature.

Although Jungkook loved most of his classes, he especially loved Charms. Taught by his Head of House, Professor Flitwick, Charms was just, so FUN! Jungkook loved to learn about different spells, and already his favorite spell was "Wingardium Leviosa" the levitation charm. Jungkook was surprised that learning the spells came easily to him.

There WAS a class that Jungkook did not enjoy much. Potions. He found this out during their first class. The Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs were having the class together, so Jungkook, along with Hoseok, Taehyung, and Taehyun, had gone down to the dungeons, where their classroom was. Jungkook had felt a sense of foreboding the moment they went into the classroom, and this aura was not helped by the fact that the professor standing at the front of the room was glaring at the children coming in as if they were the plague itself.

"Late." Professor Snape drawled. "Five points from Ravenclaw, and five points from Hufflepuff."

Jungkook was mad. They were definitely on time! "Professor, I think you've got it wrong. I really don't mean to be rude, but, isn't it unfair to take points from us? We're actually early!"

Snape turned to stare at Jungkook. Hoseok whimpered slightly, and Taehyung seemed grudgingly impressed by Jungkook's gall.

"I see that there is someone in this class that believes he knows better than me, the teacher." Snape said slowly, still appraising Jungkook.

"I'm just stating the truth. Sir." The last word was thrown in as an afterthought. Jungkook didn't want to be TOO rude. After all, he WAS the professor!

"Another five points from Ravenclaw, courtesy of this impertinent boy. Now, everyone, sit down!"

And though Jungkook wanted to yell about how unfair Snape was being, Hoseok kept tugging on his arm, his eyes imploring Jungkook to let it go, and so he did. Don't think I've forgotten your unfair treatment, Professor! And Jungkook glared daggers at his Professor. Of course, Snape ignored him.
