Chapter Six

"I suppose you had better be in... 

RAVENCLAW!"

Jungkook could hardly believe what was happening. Not a Slytherin? Wait, he wasn't a Slytherin! And suddenly he broke into the widest bunny smile ever. He practically skipped over to the Ravenclaw table, and grinned brightly at Taehyun, who he sat next to, and even at his sister, who gave Jungkook a tight smile. Jungkook watched as Hoseok went up to the front of the stool, and was made a "HUFFLEPUFF!"

More people were sorted. "Kim, Namjoon", was made a Gryffindor, "Kim, Taehyung", was made a Hufflepuff, "Neville, Longbottom", was made a Gryffindor, and so it went. Draco was sorted into Slytherin, Jungkook made a note of that. Soon there were only a few first years left to be sorted. Jungkook looked around the room, and locked eyes with Jimin as he made his way to the front. The blonde haired boy sat on the stool, and almost as soon as the hat touched his head, "SLYTHERIN!" was heard through the Hall. Jimin hopped off the stool, and still staring at Jungkook, he gave a slight nod. Jungkook grinned back.

Harry became a Gryffindor, and Jungkook watched as the Gryffindor table roared and stomped with approval. He was slightly glad that he had not joined that group. They seemed a bit too loud for his taste.

The last first year was sorted, "Zabini, Blaise" was made a Slytherin. Then from the top of the dias, where all of the teachers were sitting, a tall man with bright blue eyes and white hair stood. Jungkook knew that this was Albus Dumblebore, and judging from the complaints Minguk and his parents had about the man, Jungkook was sure Dumbledore was quite nice.

"Welcome!" he said. "Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts! Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here they are: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak! Thank you!" And with that, Dumbledore sat back down. Everyone around Jungkook began to clap and cheer, and Jungkook didn't know what had just happened. A quick glance at Taehyun told Jungkook that the other boy was just as confused.

The bossy girl sighed at the looks on the younger boys' faces. "Listen, if you're thinking that Dumbledore's a bit mad, that's because he is! But, he is also a GENIUS! The absolute BEST wizard in the entire world! But he's definitely mad. That's one of Dumbledore's best qualities! Don't give me that face, Taehyun!"

For her brother had rolled his eyes at Irene, shaking his head at Jungkook, as if saying, "She's crazy!"

Jungkook grinned. He didn't mind Irene's(that was the girl's name) bossiness at all. If Minguk spent the time to actually talk to him and teach him without glaring at him for maybe a few minutes each day, Jungkook would consider himself lucky. Taehyun having Irene's advice was absolutely amazing.

Irene sighed again at the looks the boys gave each other. "You know what, you guys are hopeless! Just eat already, will you?"

Jungkook looked back at the table, and his jaw dropped. "Wh-what? There's so much food! How are we supposed to finish it all?" Jungkook had never before seen such an abundance of food. Even though his family was extremely rich, Jungkook had never been allowed to eat much food. On many occasions, Minguk had been spoiled with meats and other rich foods, while Jungkook had been locked in his room with only some bread and water for dinner because he had been "annoying" and "a nuisance to society".
