Chapter Seventeen

A/N: Ummmm soooo, I felt like it, so double update today! :) Hope you enjoy this Christmas chapter!

Christmas Day. Jungkook awoke with shivering anticipation. He practically leapt out of bed, in his excitement to wish the others a Happy Christmas. He completely passed the pile of presents at the foot of his bed, not even stopping to think about them. He had never gotten presents before, and so he paid no attention.

Jungkook jumped the last four steps, and landed in the middle of the Ravenclaw Common Room. Lisa Turpin and Penelope Clearwater looked up in alarm. Penelope opened her mouth, probably to scold him. Jungkook didn't stay around to find out. He rubbed his neck sheepishly, before bolting out of the room. Girls kind of scared him.

Lisa and Penelope exchanged glances, then shrugged, going back to whatever they were doing before. Boys.

Jungkook took the stairs two and a time (it was kind of dangerous, but honestly, Jungkook LIVED for danger), getting down from the Ravenclaw tower in record time. Then, he raced into the Great Hall. There, Jin, unsurprisingly, was already waiting. He was eating breakfast with a kind of gloomy air, but his entire face lit up when he saw Jungkook coming.

They goofed around for a bit, and stopped when Jimin entered the room. And then they started again, except now, Jin was telling jokes. And Jimin was laughing. In other words, utter chaos.

Then Lisa and Penelope entered, and then Ron and Harry entered, and so they stopped being silly.

Yoongi did not come in, even though it was almost 9 am, as per usual.

And then Jimin was talking about the presents he had received. "My Father got me a cool pen, which writes in invisible ink. No spell can make it visible, it is only visible to the writer. And he also got me an Impervius notebook. My mother... well... she's kind of bad at the whole present giving business."

Jin was intrigued. "So, what did she get you?"

Jimin looked pained. "She found it very funny to send me one of those "ugly sweaters", and this one has little wands on them, which she finds cute, but which I find HIGHLY embarrassing."

Jin laughed. "I'll want to see that on you later. I'm sure it looks cute." Ignoring Jimin's pout, he turned to Jungkook. "What about you, Kookie?"

And Jungkook shook his head, saying: "I didn't get any presents. But that's okay, I'm happy just BEING here, away from my parents and brother!"

Jin and Jimin exchanged glances. "What do you mean, you didn't get any presents?" Jimin asked.

Jungkook looked from Jin, to Jimin, to Jin, then back again to Jimin. "What are you talking about-?"

Jin rolled his eyes. "You walked right past the pile of presents at the foot of your bed, didn't you?"

Jungkook was only more confused.

"Kookie, you crazy kid! You didn't think that we would let you celebrate Christmas without presents, would you?
Jungkook was going to respond with a: "Yes, yes I would think that, but I would be happy anyway, even if you never got me anything", when Jin continued.

"Well, go to your room this instant! See what's there!"

And Jungkook was pushed and prodded by the two older boys, out of the Great Hall, where they met a sleepy looking Yoongi coming up from the bottom floors. And then they kept going, up, up, up, with a grumbling, complaining Yoongi in tow. And then they arrived at the Ravenclaw tower.

The others looked around the top of the tower, from the large glass windows looking outside at the grounds, to the bronze, majestic eagle knocker on the door to the Common Room.
