Moving to a new town isn't normal for some people. Some doesn't like moving to new places, just like me. But since I was little, we moved to a new house every year so I'm used to it already.
The air is cool, but not cold. The green leaves of trees are starting to turn into shades of yellow and orange, indicating that autumn is coming.
I looked out the window and watched the trees pass by. This is new to me. Ever since I was a kid, yes, we frequently have to move to a new house and town but none of them looked like this. We've always been living in the noisy and bustling cities, I can even hear my neighbors shouting at each other whenever they fight.
What a memory to remember.
"Saeji, close the window." I heard my Mom say from the passenger seat. I did what she told me to do.
The ride was quiet, my brother Yeonjun, who was older than me by 3 years was sitting between me and my younger sister Yuna. He was just listening to music while tapping something on his phone.
Oh I see, he's building a house on minecraft.
Earlier, we went to a nearby restaurant which is about a 15 minute drive from our home. Everything was fine but not until one of the restaurant staff dropped something near our table and it was a mess. But nonetheless, the food was great.
"Eonni, come here. I'm going to share something to you." she motioned for me to move closer to her but Yeonjun was between us. "Yah, asshole. Move."
"What did you call me?" Yeonjun was definitely offended. "Dad, Yuna just called me an a-"
"Yuna, just send the message to me through text or something." I interrupted him before he could say anything to our parents. I don't wanna get into trouble. They will surely lecture us once we get back home if ever they heard my sister. I mean, literally, "asshole" is so common to us siblings but when our parents hears us, prepare for a long ass ride and speech.
"Oki oki."

We arrived at our house at exactly 5:40 pm. It wasn't so dark yet. And the solar lamps on the garden automatically lit up.
While my parents were unlocking the front door, I couldn't help myself but to look straight into the woods. Yesterday, I saw a path leading somewhere deeper in the forest. Since then, I was so eager to know what could it be at the end of it.
I flinched when I heard a snap from behind. Yuna was there looking at me with a confused expression.
"Did you see something."
That doesn't sound like a question, but it's a question.
"Nah, nothing. I was just curious." I shrugged at her and proceeded to walk back to the front porch.
"I know you, eonni. You saw something." she said, trailing behind me.
"What something? Do you mean, a ghost?"
"What? No. I meant-I know you noticed that path that leads to somewhere too." she said, her voice slowly toning down. She sounds like a girl spreading gossip.
I didn't answer.
"Aha! I knew it." she snapped her fingers in front of my face. "We really are sisters." she slung her right arm around my shoulder, making me really feel short. I looked at her again, this time, I was the one confused.
"We have the same interests. But..."
"But?"
"Well, you're way cooler than me. Plus, you're brave."
I was born brave, so that I can protect you.
