I was hanging out with Harley's friends, Poison Ivy and Catwoman and we talked about relationship and shit like girls gossiping.
"So uhh, heard you and batman are getting feisty now?" I joked and me and Ivy laughed at her
"It was a one night stand!" She tried to convince us but it failed as we laughed harder than before.
"Sure it is." Ivy sarcastically said and we giggled
"I bet that batman didn't get to see his cat kissing his mouth as he replied with kissing back!" me and Ivy laughed again as Catwoman became a blushing mess.
"Ok ok, enough about Catwoman. So what about you, Ivy?" I asked
"Well I'm going back with kite man." she just replied
"What, no way?!" I asked in shocked
"Yeah I am and I want to let Harley know that because she had a crush on me too." She said, looking down with a saddened face. I then pat her on the head
"Don't worry, you're gonna do just fine." I assured her.
"I hope I don't break her heart that's all." She sighed
"I hope she loves me." I thought out loud and they stared at me as I noticed I hear myself
"You're in love with her?" Cat Woman asked in shocked
"Yeah, sure she's a messy and quite clumsy one but she's a funny and cute girl. I love the way she and I joked with each other and played with Bud and Lou all the time and her smile was the greatest light that ever shined in my darkness. I knew she was a psychiatrist so she sometimes tends to pry on old memories with hugs. You see that's why I love her. She's a good bestie so I'm just staying like that because what if she rejects me? I needed a second plan right ? As long as we are best-friends, then I'm alright." I stopped as I drank the whole beer
"That was something." Ivy said.
"Yeah, I just don't want to be rejected anymore because I've been rejected many times before and I wished that this time is different." I told them as I shed a tear.
"I don't want it to be the same fucking day where they text me and said we're done." I began to cry.
"I just want to be happy for christ sakes, even though I look happy on the fucking outside doesn't mean that I ain't wearing a mask that hides my real emotions." I then got up and looked at them.
"(Y/n), calm down." Cat woman tried to talk me down but I was filled with rage.
"I CAN'T CALM DOWN RIGHT NOW, CAT BECAUSE LOOK!" I then showed them my hand being skeletal and on fire.
"HOLY SHIT!" they both cursed and I distinguished the flame and my hands returned to normal.
"This is not ok." I told them as I fall to the couch
"Look, even though we just first met. I just want to say thank you." She said and I looked at her confused.
"What do you mean?" I asked her
"Well, you got Harley out of her crazy love with the joker and now she looks like she's falling for you and I can tell why. You're a good man with a generous heart, (Y/n). Even though you wore a mask, Harley can just see right through. She's perfect for you and you're perfect for her and I think she'll never turn you down even with your weird powers, she'll never stop loving you no matter what." Ivy said as she hugged me
"She knows you're in pain, she knows that you're dying on the inside and she would do anything to bring your happiness back to her and you would do anything to bring her happiness back to you too. So don't say that Harley will turn you down and just be besties because I think Harley has a crush on you." she said
"You think?" I asked her.
"Yeah, I mean you're a funny guy to date and cute too. Those freaking abs and ass are hot too." she said as she bit her lips.
"I don't like where this is going." I said uncomfortably
"I'm kidding." she said and we laughed.
I then left the building as I got on my bike and it went on fire again, a voice came into my mind
"YOU WILL BRING VENGEANCE TO THE INNOCENTS" it said
'What? Hello?!' I asked in my mind.
"What the fuck is wrong with me?" I asked myself as I drove off to my apartment. And after 2 seconds I arrived at my apartment, headed up and unlocked the door to see Bud and Lou looking at me playfully.
"Hey Bud and Lou!" I said playfully as I rub their bellies
"Go to sleep now, it's night time." I ordered them as they went to their beds.
I then went to bed to see Harley on her bed and I sighed.
"I hope you can love me." I said as I kissed her forehead and went to my bed and fell to my bed and sleep
