Effortless

It's the little things that make him fall even harder for you.

"I don't think I could get tired of this."

Oikawa relishes the warmth of your plush Mickey Mouse blanket and golden retriever puppy seated in his lap as his eyes absorb the image of an alligator lurking in its territory on your television. You left the brunette on your couch with Animal Planet running one of its famous documentaries, most of which Oikawa couldn't find interesting until he realized how weirdly cool the dangerous overgrown lizards known as alligators are. Their ridiculous pearly white "danger stabbies" — that's what you liked to call them, and the cute word grew on him — seemed to hypnotize him as he couldn't help but lean closer to the glow box, watching with sick curiosity as the alligator darts forward to entrap a helpless looking fawn lapping at the water. The poor, unfortunate, and defenseless baby.

"Oh shit, is that alligator stuff? Can't believe I missed it." You enter the living room with two steaming cups of green tea in your hands as you take a seat beside Oikawa; your hand moves over to give Tooru a pat on his puppy noggin after placing the teas on your coffee table. Oikawa continues to be engrossed with the documentary before his attention is stolen by two warm hands holding his cheeks.

"Your skin looks dry, I'll go get some moisturizer for it." You disappear yet again into the depths of your home before reappearing with a small container of "snail goo." You tap Oikawa's shoulder, asking him politely to place his head in your lap. The teen happily obliges to your demand as he settles himself on the pillow between your thighs and offers you a smile. Tooru seems to find happiness being closer to the man who gave him his moniker as he pads upward to curl himself up on Oikawa's chest.

With your hands rubbing cold circles of moisturizer into his skin and the warmth of Tooru on his heart, Oikawa never felt happier as he continued to watch the documentary with the two things he loved most in the world.
