Kylie's POV

It was nice to have friends who didn't exactly know my past. Xander and Eric made sure I was having a good time and I enjoyed their company. Xander was the carefree amazingly hot guy who was a sweetheart deep down and well Eric was the Alpha's son, which meant he was smart and also had a big head who thought he could get any girl he wanted. They fit each other well and made great friends, they didn't hide things from each other and trusted each other. I always wanted a friend like that minus my brother that I had no choice to be close with and an over protected body guard who is older than time.

Xander wrapped his arm around my shoulder and got dangerously close to me sending shivers to shoot down my spine from his sudden contact.

"Your boyfriend keeps sending death glares my way." He whispered in my ear. With his comment I quickly glanced towards Caleb and sure enough He was starring us down. I glared back at him as the girl he  was with earlier continued to cling onto his arm. Who was she any ways?

"Don't mind him he is always like that and he isn't my boyfriend." I snapped at Xander by accident getting ready to take off but was held back by Mr.Hottie with a nice body.

"Fine I won't, let's dance?" He asked as he motioned towards the dance floor where Eric was dancing with two girls. I giggled as I watched him bust his moves.

"Trust me I can't dance." I managed to get out between fits of laughter.

"I'm sure you're not as bad as Eric is I mean he is busting the running man." He laughed at his friend.

"Running man? I thought he was having a seizure."

"He possibly can be doing both, between you and I. I'm the best dancer here. I know the chicken dance, the moon walk and just to impress you I'll even do the cabbage patch." He joked as he showed me his moves which made me bust out in laughter.

"Fine I'll love to dance with you Xander the best dancer at Saint Bernadette's" I quoted a movie called grease I watched it when the war was over and my mom was trying to teach me about high school.

"With the worst reputation!" Xander added as he finished the famous lines.

"You watched that movie too?" I asked, excited that I knew what something was for once.

"Yea Amber use to make me watch that movie all the time." He stated as he winced from the memory.

"You poor unfortunate soul." I commented as I touched his shoulder and shook my head from side to side.

"I could say the same to you cute crazy girl." He replied as he winked at me before dragging me to the dance floor. I had to admit he was indeed a better dancer than Eric. He made me feel like we were gliding around the dance floor, it seemed for just this moment we were the only people here. I guess this is what happens when normal people dance with someone. I don't know if it's my lack of being sober or if I'm actually seeing things but for a split second I thought I saw Xander about to kiss me. I'm thinking it was the first thought because he still hasn't tried after that one gesture.

"I think that's enough dancing for tonight. Kylie you're coming with me" Caleb rudely interrupted our dance as he grabbed my arm roughly.

"Owe you're hurting me Caleb!" I shouted as I yanked my arm away from him.

"Leave her alone!" Xander shouted in my defense as he pulled me behind him for protection. It was a kind gesture but no one needs to defend me I could do that on my own. Grabbing my hair and wrapping it in a knot I cracked my knuckles as I got ready to attack my dear Guard. Before I could fight him for grabbing me the way he done some one I never imagined helped me. Elijah yanked Caleb from behind and flashed his fangs at him.
