A day with kids
"What is it, Jiyoon?"
"Is that how you greet me? And why are you talking so quietly?"
"It's nothing. What do you want?"
There was a displeased sound coming from the woman then a sigh.
"How long do you plan to keep this pettiness up? Well, whatever. Just make sure to be home by tomorrow afternoon."
Jungkook raised a brow. "You can't just-"
"I need you to take Bora shopping for clothes. Take Beomsoo too. I won't be able to do it." She interrupted. "Be responsible for once, ok?"
"What the fuck do you mean"
And the phone call ended right there as she hung up on him. Jungkook looked down at his phone with a soft scoff and a shake of the head. "Unbelievable.." He muttered.
"Were you arguing with your wife again?" Taehyung suddenly spoke with a groggy voice. Surprised, Jungkook looked down at the younger. "Sorry, did I wake you?" He apologised and Taehyung just shook his head as he sat up with a soft yawn.
"It's fine. I shouldn't have fallen asleep on you." Taehyung mumbled and stretched his arms up. "What did you two argue about?" He asked.
"It's nothing really. It's just that she called me to tell me to take my kids shopping for clothes. I don't mind honestly but it's just..." Jungkook paused to keep himself level. "The way she talks to me is frustrating."
Taehyung listened to Jungkook vent and he pursed his lips.
His hand rubbed Jungkook's upper arm softly. "I'm sorry you have to go through that." He commented and Jungkook just shrugged, watching Taehyung's hand.
There was a silent pause for a few seconds before Taehyung spoke again. "So you're taking your children shopping tomorrow?" He repeated and Jungkook nodded.
The grey haired bit his bottom lip and looked at his hands as if he was contemplating something. Jungkook noticed and he could tell Taehyung had something to say.
"What is it?"
"Ah, it's nothing really. I just wondered if it's okay I could come along? Y'know, with you guys?" He asked and Jungkook raised a brow. "You want to go shopping with me and my kids?" Jungkook repeated.
Taehyung nodded.
"Are you sure? Wouldn't you be uncomfortable?"
"I'm sure. I just... I don't know. I have this need to be around kids right now." He admitted. Jungkook looked at him for a long time.
It's probably the pregnancy hormones.
Jungkook thought to himself. If he were to say no, Taehyung might get upset. "Okay, you can come along if you want to."
