"If you feel lost, disappointed, hesitant, or weak,
return to yourself, to who you are, here and now and when you get there,
you will discover yourself, like a lotus flower in full bloom,
even in a muddy pond, beautiful and strong."― Masaru Emoto
Lily continued to munch down the meat, even if she couldn't even taste it for the turmoil she was in.
And the day wasn't even finished.
Lily was banging her foot on the ground, fast and annoying loud.
Skah had just entered the room with another massive daemon, and while the Jozu had gone directly to his partner, the man remained on the entrance, and told them that "Miss Sylvia Sailman has just arrived, they are waiting for you in Chief's tent". After a respectful bow on the direction on the General, and a general nod to Lily, he went away.
She didn't even see Nahuel got up from the bed. She just felt a ringing in her hears as she thought that in minutes she was going to meet the person that had put her in the world, and that was now a completely different woman. She didn't even have her own surname any more.
Lily was going to be sick.
She definitely felt sick.
"It's going to be alright" Erebos said, sensing her turmoil. After he had returned to the flight and had gone to the cave, she had briefed him on who was going to arrive.
"I don't think I can face her" she replied, she could feel a lump forming in her throat, making it hard to breath, all voices in her screaming it was going to be a disaster.
"I know you can do it, you are strong, and I will always be with you, whatever will happen, I will never go away" he said, kindly, letting pass his affection and comfort in the bond, soothing her mind and helping her calm her nerves.
"Thank you Erebos, I love you" Lily said, also letting her affection and immense gratitude enter the bond.
No one could ever break them, whatever would happen, he was hers, and she was his, always together, in the face of everything.
"I love you too little one" he replied "Be strong"
So closed in her thought, she didn't even notice the daemon take a seat in front of her, she had kind of forgot his presence for the entire afternoon for the nervousness. He had never talked, sensing her urge to stay alone.
"We should go" said Nahuel, coming in front of her with the crutches in his hands.
"Yeah" replied Lily, even if she really didn't want to, but Erebos was there for her, and she felt strong with his presence in her mind, always strong for her.
