Erebos was waiting for her near the bed with an angry expression plastered on his face. He had considerably calmed down since before, but some sign of frustration and rage would still arrive through their bond.

He was down, the leg gathered under his body, with his tail twitching nervously, sometimes bouncing loudly on the bed. When he noticed Lily enter, he simply lifted his massive head to look at her with his giant golden eyes.

They looked at each other for a few minutes, amber eyes into hazel changing eyes, trying to decide who would first start the conversation.

"Are you angry at me?" she asked him in apprehension, unable to bear the unusual tension between dragon and rider. There shouldn't be tension, he was her other half, her partner. She didn't want to cause him pain or discomfort.

"No" he replied indignantly, as if the mere thought of being angry at her was abominable "Why would I?"

"I don't know" Lily replied sighting, she was so tired. She walked towards the bed, ignored the mess that her room was, with clothed and textbook everywhere. With her incessant and hard training, Lily had barely the force or the will to clean the mess in the evenings.

He gently put his giant head above the mattress, making it do a worrisome crack, so he could be closer to her, emitting some smoke from his mouth. She coughed a little, but smiled at the familiar gesture of her dragon, feeling the comfort coming from him.

She put her hand on his forehead, passing it up and down while his eyes watched every movement.

"I have never got so violent towards someone" she confessed "I had a lot of anger yes, but never lashed out that way"

"It may have been because of the bond" he replied "your emotions are stronger now as they combine with mine. The moment you felt pain our connection opened and I heard the conversation while flying"

"You heard her?" she asked a little ashamed, feeling her hand stop.

"I heard her tell you that I choose you out of pity" he said and lifting his head up in barely contained fury"all the anger that you felt was in part infused with mine, so maybe the reaction was stronger that it should have been. Anyhow I still doubt it made a difference, you were already at your break point"
