Chapter 37: (BTS Cam) I'm Sorry

Jimin was tired. BTS had just gotten home from a photo shoot and would have to leave again in a few hours to catch a flight to Japan where they will be promoting for the next two weeks.

Which meant another two weeks without Gale.

He groaned as he collapsed on his bed, too tired to even put his bag on his desk, leaving it lying on the floor. He pulled out his phone from his pocket, wanting to hear his girlfriend's voice before inevitably passing out from exhaustion. He was just about to call her when he saw the notification on his lock screen.

Jimin immediately clicked on the notification. If he couldn't talk to her now, at least he could see her.

He cracked a smile when he saw that the three eldest members of BLACKPINK were doing a VLive wearing sheet masks, finding them too adorable. He was also very impressed since not a lot of female idols were willing to let their fans see them without any makeup on. He had logged in just in time to hear Jisoo finish answering one of the questions.

"Jennie is Playing With Fire because she's really cool. Which means that Gale is As If It's Your Last."

"I think that's perfect." Jennie said. Jimin chuckled, agreeing with their answer. In the short time that he has been with her, he had picked up that Gale had a very idealistic and innocent view on love. It wasn't that he thought that she was naive- he knew that she was smart enough to know that love comes with challenges and hardships- but just the way she is, it's so pure, like a first love who hasn't known heartbreak yet.

And I'll make sure she doesn't. Jimin thought.

"How so?" Gale asked curiously.

"Well, you're a hopeless romantic. You always say that you wish that your first love will be your last." Jennie replied. Gale giggled slightly as she turned her head, making Jimin smile as he remembered their conversation a few nights ago.

Well, to be honest, he was shocked at himself when he joked about marrying her. He knew that it came a bit too soon considering that they haven't even been dating for a year, but it was what he was feeling. He knew that she was the girl he was eventually going to marry. It was a good thing that she didn't freak out on him.

'Maybe she sees me as her future husband too.' He thought happily. Not being able to contain his glee, he sent her a text.

A few seconds after he sent it, he saw in the VLive that Gale pulled out her phone, then her eyes widened, undoubtedly after reading his text.

It felt good to know the effect he had on her.

Gale snapped out of it when Jisoo called her attention, asking her to recreate her CF. At first she protested, but eventually she agreed to do it.

"I like you oppa. Should we...start dating?"

'Ah, I'm so lucky.' Jimin smiled. The look that Gale flashed the camera as she said the sentence made his heart jump, and now he wanted nothing more than to rush over there and kiss her, but he knew that he couldn't. She was busy, and he was supposed to be packing, so he settled with continuing to watch the VLive, enjoying his girlfriend's presence from the other side of his phone's screen. He then began to think how funny life was, that not even a year ago, he was just like all the other viewers of the broadcast, just a regular fan, but now he was dating the girl of his dreams.
