The boys of Bangtan Seonyeondan all sat around the dining room table, quietly eating their dinner. It's been like that ever since Jimin broke up with Gale. There has been tension within the group, especially between the three youngest members. They didn't talk to each other aside from stage interactions and in front of cameras, when they had to pretend like nothing was wrong.
Taehyung was still furious to the point where he can't stand being in the same room as Jimin. He had been avoiding being alone with Jimin at all costs ever since the incident between them. He turned away whenever he saw Jimin approaching, and glared at him whenever he tried to talk to him. He couldn't understand how Jimin could break up with Gale over something so simple. Didn't Jimin know how lucky he was that she chose him? Taehyung would have given everything to have been with her, and yet Jimin just threw it all away.
Jungkook showed his anger in a different way. He has not looked his hyung in the eyes ever since that day. He ignored him and pretended like he didn't even exist. He knew it was immature of him to act like that, but he thought that Jimin deserved it.
The hyungs were a bit more conflicted. On one hand they were mad at Jimin because of his rash action. Because of his decision, all of them had not seen or heard from Gale in over three months, which was difficult because they had come to love her as their sister. At the same time, they didn't blame him because they weren't the ones who were in a relationship with her, so they didn't know what happened between them behind closed doors. They tried to talk to him about it, but Jimin changed the topic every time.
He didn't want to talk about it. He didn't want to even think about her, but how could he not? Every waking moment he saw something that reminded him of her and their wonderful time together, and consequently how he went and ruined it all.
He regretted it. He regretted breaking up with her, but it was the right thing to do.
Now, Gale was free to pursue projects without the fear of hurting him. Just a few days ago YG Entertainment released a behind the scenes video of Gale on the set of The Bride of Habaek, and she looked happy. She was also extra affectionate with Joohyuk, which hurt Jimin a lot, so he had to remind himself that he was the one who ended their relationship, and when he did, he lost the right to be jealous.
He almost called her once. It was during a drunken night, which had been happening a lot lately. Jimin was never much of a drinker, only doing so on special occasions, but he found that drinking himself to the point of passing out was better than not being able to sleep, haunted by his decision. He brought out his phone and dialed her number. He deleted it before, but realized that he had accidentally memorized it. As it rang, he thought about what he was going to say to her. In his drunken stupor, he was ready to beg for her to take him back.
But she had changed her cell phone number.
Jin sighed loudly, not being able to take the silence anymore. He left his unfinished meal on the table and walked out of the dining room, heading to the balcony for some fresh air.
He hated what the situation was doing to his family, and he couldn't do anything about it.
He brought out his phone and went to his contacts, searching for Jisoo's name. He needed someone to talk to, and Jisoo, being the eldest in BLACKPINK, might understand how he was feeling.
"Yeobeoseyo?" Jisoo's voice said from the other end of the line. When she saw the name on the caller ID, she had contemplated not answering the call, but decided to do so anyway.
"Jisoo-yah, good evening." Jin greeted. "How are you?"
"I'm fine." She answered, but the tiredness in her voice immediately told Jin that she was lying.
