(First may I say I feel insulted you guys didn't tell me about when I spelled people wrong because I was like half asleep in the first chapter,

Kaito POV

I sat on my bed holding onto my pillow with my legs crossed on the bed like an angry young child after being told 'no' but I was doing it for a bigger reason than not getting a treat before bed or something. I didn't go to school after the events of yesterday, I barely even bothered to get out of bed but my grandma told me I shouldn't sit and mope as it's not what Kokichi should be wanting in the moment; but it got me thinking..what is Kokichi thinking in this moment..? Is he actually wanting me to live my life without worrying about him..? He did tell me he thought he would be a burden to us...

"i-i know I just....d-didnt want to be a burden.."

"How could he think he'd be a burden..? We've all know him since we were kids.." I heard my voice crack a bit I groaned and rubbed my eyes. I've been waiting for ma' to call me down so I can go see Kokichi, since she wouldn't let me go early today so I didn't have to see something I wouldn't like..I mean good thing.

"Kaito!!" Ma' yelled from the kitchen, I smiled putting my back on my bed, slipped on my slippers, then walked out of my room to the kitchen. I smiled as she grabbed her purse and checked through it checking she had everything. "Before we see Kokichi, why dont you get him something? Make him feel like a star in the sky?" She asked and I nodded "right! Good idea ma'!" We then left and went to the shops.

We walked into the shop and went our ways though before saying a place to meet when we had finished our shopping. I walked and looked into one store, I saw a nice light purple stuffed bear, I walked in and immediately bought it. I smiled at how I thought Kokichi would react.

After leaving the store I walked looking for something else for Kokichi, as I was giving up and began walking back to the area glancing at some of the stores one caught my eye. I walked in and looked around seeing all scarfs/bandanas like Kokichi's, I looked and saw one that was black with stars covering it I smiled and bought it; I also bought one for myself and one like Kokichi's.

When I walked to the spot I saw Ma' sitting on a bench, I walked over to her she was holding a bouquet of flowers,a nice vase, and around the roses was a small card with 'get well soon Kichi! Love grandma Momota♡' I chuckled and smiled at her. "You should tie the scarf round the bears neck! Kokichi wore em' didn't he?" Ma' asked and I nodded "I dont really know how to.." Ma' chuckled and took the bear and one of the scarfs from me after setting the vase and bouquet down and tied the scarf round' the bears neck. She then handed the bear back to me and picked up the flowers and vase, we then left the shops and headed towards the hospital.

When we got there and were admitted in as guests I quickly showed Ma' the way to his room when we got there I let out a breathe and knocked on the door and heard a hoarse voice call "come in". I slowly opened the door to see the smaller boy smile.

"H-hi Kaito..M-Mrs. Momota...!"Kokichi sat up straight. "Hello Kokichi!" Ma' smiled and set the vase on the desk and grabbed a bottle of water from her purse, poured it into the vase then set the bouquet in it. "A-ah..! Thank you M-Mrs. Momota" Kokichi gave her a gentle hug "oh it's nothing dear!" Ma' smiled then sat down.

I sat down on the chair next to his bed and set the bag on his bed and smiled, I carefully picked up his hand and gently kissed it blushing a bit, so did he. He then giggled "w-why are y-you being such a g-gentleman? That's not like y-you..!" Kokichi quietly laughed, Ma' slapped me on the back slightly and chuckled "yup, that's my Kokichi.." I smiled.

Kokichi opened up the bag and grabbed the bear and smiled, he hugged it a bit then hugged me, kissing my forehead; I smiled feeling good about myself. Ma' tapped my shoulder "yes Ma'?" "I'm going to go get the old crab- (exactly what my grandma calls my grandpa HA) I drove him to work since his car is in the shop" I nodded "love you, get well soon Kokichi!" She said and waved before leaving.

Kokichi looked at me and kissed me, I smiled and pulled away making him pout "cmon' kichi y'know we shouldn't" I chuckled "f-fineee.." he pouted and I smiled. "S-saihara and Rantaro s-should be coming soon..!" He smiled and clapped.
