Third POV

Kaito, Rantaro, and Shuichi were going to Kokichi's room, he had finally been discharged and Kaito was ecstatic though Rantaro and Shuichi had their worries.  Shuichi opened Kokichi's door and smiled as a doctor had already came and helped him dress, "comfy?" Kokichi nodded happily.

Kaito waited outside of the room and smiled when Shuichi pushed Kokichi out of the room, he was happy to see Kokichi out of bed; Kokichi smiled and Kaito chuckled as Kokichi tried to fix his hair.

~time skip~

Kokichi and Kaito sat in Kaito's room, Kaito helped Kokichi with some of the homework. Kokichi whined and leaned on Kaito, Kaito rolled his eyes "Kokichi we have to do this okay?" "I know but its boringgggg!" He whined and Kaito laughed at how childish his boyfriend was, and Kokichi folded his arms, "oh c'mon," Kaito messed up Kokichi hair and pecked his cheek and Kokichi blushed. "Now, will you please cooperate?" Kokichi nodded and Kaito smiled and continued showing Kokichi how to do it.

Kaito's grandma called them down so Kaito helped Kokichi downstairs, and saw Kokichi's mother. "Oh Kichi I'm sorry.." she went and took Kokichi and hugged him, he hugged her back "it's alright mama, I promise." Kokichi smiled and looked at Kaito. "I missed you baby..please be more careful..." his mom mumbled "I will.." Kokichi said.

"Dads at home waiting for us..we should go" Kokichi's eyes widened "c-can I come back here afterward..?" He mumbled and his mom nodded and rubbed Kokichi's back.

She let go and turned to Kaito's grandmother "t-thank you for taking care of my boy when I couldn't, I owe you everything" she bowed "oh please, we just wanted to help him like we'd help a son" she winked and Kaito and Kokichi flushed "ma..." Kaito said quietly and she laughed "well we'll be going now, thank you.." she grabbed Kokichi's hand "see ya later Kaito," Kokichi said and smiled, so did Kaito. "See ya Kichi" he kissed Kokichi's cheek and waved as the two left.

Kokichi was sitting on the couch as his parents argued about something or other. He was looking at his feet when he felt someone sit next to him and the argument cooled off.

"Hey kid I missed you," his father hugged him and he hugged back "I missed you too.." he hugged back "how a school been going?" "Its been good, I got a boyfriend" his father's eyes lit up "oooo, spill" Kokichi giggled.

"His names Kaito Momota, hes in my class, and he's one of my good friends." Kokichi smiled, so did his dad "that's great Kichi I'm proud..would you like to come stay at my house for a bit?" He asked "hey! We never agreed he was suddenly aloud at your apartment!" His mother yelled "you're never home, what if something bad happenes and Keebo's not there!" His father said "Kichi you choose..we shouldn't argue about this it's your call.." he said and Kokichi looked down.

"I wanna go with dad.." he said "I havent seen him in forever and we need to bond more.." Kokichi sighed "fine..well I have to go to work, Kichi wanted to go back to his friends after we saw you, so take him their then come back and pack his things." His mom said and walked out of the house. "Well then, Let me take ya too your friends house" his dad smiled and so did Kokichi.

Kokichi handed his dad the house key, his dad helped him out of his truck and took Kokichi to the porch. Kokichi rung the door bell and Kaito opened it, "hey kichi! Hello sir!" Kaito smiled and held out his hand, Kokichi's father shook it. "Hello! I'm Mr. Oma, pleasure to meet you" he smiled "Kaito Momota! Nice to meet you too!" Kaito smiled and Kokichi's dad smiled at winked at Kokichi, Kokichi hit his dads shoulder.

"Ow...anyways have a good time I'll come back in like two maybe three hours, have fun boys" Kokichi's dad hummed as he walked back to his truck and Kokichi walked inside with Kaito's help.

They went and sat on the couch watching tv "hi again Kokichi, want any snacks?" Kaito's grandma smiled "yes please!" He smiled and cuddled up to Kaito in the blanket they were sharing.

Kaito's grandma brought over snacks and Kokichi thanked her and ate the snacks.

Kokichis dad sat in his apartment on the couch he sighed looking around at the boxes and pictures "what ever happened to him...was so healthy" he grabbed a baby picture of Kokichi.
