Kokichi pov

My mother came upstairs and woke me then gave me my medicine "Mom I can do it myself" I chuckled, I didnt want her wasting the rest of her youth on me. "I know I just want to make sure you're alright Kichi.." she smiled and 'helped' me sit up; I did it myself but I still appreciate her help.

After I got ready for school my mother tied my checker scarf around my neck "are you sure you dont want me to drive you? Because you can always-" "I promise I'm alright Mama, if I needed help I'd ask. I love ya" I waved and walked out of the house.

As I walked I saw Shuichi, Rantaro, Maki, Keade, and Kaito. I blushed looking at Kaito. I began running over to them waving, they all looked at me: Shuichi waved, Kaede excitedly waved, Rantaro waved and Kaito smiled widely "yo! Kokichi!" He called.

When I was about to be with them I felt a wave of sickness come over me almost making me fall over. 'Not now not now!' I yelled in my head.

Third POV

Shuichi's, Rantaro's, and Kaito's eyes widen as they saw Kokichi about to collapse. The three boys ran up to Kokichi, Kaito picked him up holding him bridal style while the other two asked Kokichi questions. "N-neeheehee! Sorry for w-worrying you Saihara-Chan!" Kokichi said weakly putting his index finger to his mouth.

"Are you feeling alright Kokichi? Are you sick?"Rantaro asked and Kokichi went stiff hearing the word 'sick' "h-ha! Supreme leaders d-dont get sick!" Kokichi laughed trying to hide his nervousness. Kaito sighed "kokichi common..we've known you since we were kids. You can tell us anything" Kaito reassured which made Kokichi feel bad.

While this was going on Shuichi was inspecting Kokichi for something that could've made him sick "u-umm Kokichi..?" Shuichi asked as Kaito sat Kokichi down on a bench. "Yesssssss Saihara-chan~" Kokichi smiled.

"Why do you have a hospital wrist band on?" Shuichi asked seriously and Kaito slightly buried all of his millions of concerns. "What?" Kokichi asked trying to stay cool. "The bracelet, like your supposed to go down for a bunch of medical reasons or somethin like that" Rantaro tried to explain from the best of his knowledge.

Kokichi looked at his wrist with the bracelet "pfft, yeah I guess. I dunno." Kokichi pulled his sleeve down to cover the bracelet. "Kok-" I cut off kaito "I'm going call my mom..I'm not feeling very well." Kokichi said "o-oh yeah..ya looked like ya needed to puke earlier" Rantaro rubbed Kokichi's back.

"Haha..yeah I've been a bit sick..lately.." Kokichi frowned for a second "we should get into the classroom before class starts" they started to walk away but Kokichi grabbed Kaito's jacket "could you wait with me..?" Kokichi looked at him and Kaito blushed a bit but nodded.

Kokichi called his mom then after him and kaito talked a bit. "Kokichi!?" Kokichi's mother got out of the car and frantically called. Kokichi got a bit embarrassed and Kaito chuckled; "over here Mrs. Oma!" Kaito called while kokichi's mom was walking over Kaito took off his jacket and put it around Kokichi. Kokichi looked at Kaito and all Kaito did was smile and said "Get better kichi" kokichi blushed and nodded.

Kokichi stood up and looked at his mom "have a good day at school Momota-Channnn!~" kokichi dragged the 'n' and walked with his mom and got in the car with her. He decided to sit in the back so he could lay down. He looked at the galaxy on the inside of the jacket, "heh..I was at school for l-like 2 minutes" Kokichi chuckled "new record.." he mumbled before falling asleep.

~time skip~

Kokichi pov

I woke up on the couch "mom?" I call once. No answer. "Shes probably at work.." I sat up and felt something on my back I looked and saw Kaito's jacket i blushed and put my arms through the holes and slightly buttoned a few of the buttons and stood up. I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote my mom a small note saying I was going out for fresh air.

I checked the time and noticed school was about to finish I decided to go and wait for Kaito so I could give his jacket back, because it is his most prized possession. I walked to the school and waited, I went to fix my scarf as I waited when I realized I wasn't wearing it; I buttoned the top buttons around the neck.

The bell rang a people started walking out, I had buttoned enough buttons so the galaxy that wouldn't show. I saw kaito and the others and I went over to them and they stopped and looked at me before bursting out laughing. "H-hey!" I folded my arms

After they laughed we began walking everyone home "I'm volunteering as a Nurse at the local hospital." Shuichi said and i smiled "that's sweet Shumai" I said. We soon dropped off Shuichi and Rantaro. When we got to Kaito's I began to unbutton the jacket but Kaito stopped me: "give it back when you aren't ill." Kaito smiled and Kokichi blushed.
