Gaara's Thoughts

Gaara's pov.

I just couldn't get that girl out of my mind. How did she know my name when we never met. I was so destracted I didn't hear Temari talking to me. "Gaara are you alright you've been spacing out a lot lately."

"I'm fine."I said glaring at her as she took a step back. I walked past her and the others. As I walked my mind drifted to the wolf girl who smiled at me. But now that I think about it when I was spying on her she had absolutely no emotion what so ever. And when I looked into her eyes she had a sadden pain look in them.

It made me feel like I could relate to her. I turned into sand and sat on a nearby tree branch. Once I got settled I closed my eyes and tried to calm down. Long light orange hair came into my head along with bright ice blue eyes. I opened my eyes and shocked out of my mind.

That Okami girl is really starting to get on my nerves. I felt heat raised to my face I was confused. Why would it be so hot this isn't the desert.

As I tried to figure it out I saw them, her students walking around looking confused. They were alone the wolf girl wasn't there. She seemed very protective over them, so why aren't they with her. Then the girl walked up to the tree and looked up at me.

"Excuse me, but have you maybe seen our sensei? Long light orange hair, ice blue eyes, animal skin dress. Oh, and she's about your age."the girl said to me."If I had why should I tell you?" I asked looking down at her.

"Ah, sorry where are my manners? My name is Naomi, what is your name?" she asked as if she hadn't heard what I just said to her. When I looked at the little girl she looked a lot like her sensei are they related?

"Okay, you look like her." I said looking at her. "I get that a lot, but she is not related to me."she said smiling up at me."So have you seen her?" she asked. "No."I replied with a strate face.

"Okay well thanks anyway!"she said before running of to join her teammates. Know this got me interested, she didn't look like someone who would leave without telling anyone. I don't know why but I wanted to know where she was at the moment.

So I jumped down the tree and began walking around searching for the strange wolf girl.

Time skip.

I've been looking for her for two and a half hours. Just as I was about to go back to the hotel we were staying in I heard a branch break above me. I looked up and there she was smiling down at me.

"So, if shinobi spy on someone it's rude, but if you do it it's fine?" I asked almost mockingly. "It's not spying if I've been here for a while and you just happen to be walking by."she said as she jumped down and smiled at me with her hand on her hip.

"We only met like four hours ago and you are already obsessed with me."she said."I am not obsessed with you, you are obsessed with me." I said jokingly. Okay know I'm surprised, I never say mocking things or joke.

When I looked back at her, her eyes looked like a night full of stars."I want to show you something, come on."she said as she grabbed my hand and ran of with me being dragged behind.

Time skip.

She was still holding my hand as we went deeper and deeper into the woods. We finally stopped and she looked at me."What I am about to show you, you can't show or tell to anyone."she said looking at me.

She let go of my hand, and for some reason I felt a pain in my chest. She moved some branches and twigs and kept on walking, strangely I followed her. We walked a bit more and stopped in front of a beautiful water stream.

My eyes widen I never saw something like this before. "This place...""Oh, you haven't seen anything yet!"Okami said pulling my hand again. We began walking up stream. Her smile only grew bigger the higher we went.

The next thing I see is a lot of greenery with small waterfalls that looked like it was glowing.

"See I told you."she said as her hold on my hand tighten. I turned to her and saw she was still smiling at me."Why do you smile at me yet you don't in front of others?" I asked. She looked taken a back by my question. "Well, it's because they always have someone who smiles at them but you don't." she said. A light pink covered her cheeks as she looked away.

I was more confused than shock. "I don't understand."i said as I looked at her."Well I think you need someone by your side more than most people."she answered. She looked at me once more her face still pink.

"Just so you know, if you ever need someone to talk to, while we're here that is, you can come and talk to me. Or if you want to get away from everything you can come here, and if I might be here at the same time we can just walk around together."she said.

"We'll see."I replied. After we got out of woods she said goodbye and walked away while I went on the roof of the hotel to think. I looked at my hand the one she held.

"Why did she hold my hand...and why didn't I remove my hand from hers." I thought as I looked at the night sky.
