And we've reached the end! This has been such a journey following Genevieve's life and its bumps along that way. I just want to thank everyone who has read, voted and comment on the chapters, you have no idea how much it means to me knowing people are enjoying my work.
This fanfiction started as a challenge for myself, to see if I was able to write a story about a character I despised soo much in the original books and movies (sorry Severus) and I like to think I was a success full in my task. I have fallen in love with the Severus I have created, and I hope you have too.
Like with my Maria Lightly series, Genevieve is a reflection of parts of me, the me who loves music and singing, and a more idealised part of myself, the girl who isn't afraid to say and do what she wants, the girl who finds love in unexpected places. Though we share a lot in common, Genevieve is twice as brave and confident as I will ever be, and I look up to her in a way. She has overcome so much that I've thrown at her, death, grief, ultimately emotional abuse from her parents. So I would like to apologise to you, Genevieve Snape-Blackwell, for putting you through so much hardship and I hope you will forgive me.
I'm just going to keep rambling so I don't have to mark the story as complete :) Thank you all for making this the best fanfiction I've ever worked on. Though I might have been late publishing chapters, I have enjoyed every moment of this and I'm sad to let it go. I guess you never truly understand how hard it is to let it go when you've spent so much time and effort writing it.
Right, I guess I have to finish now. Thank you all so much, from the bottom of my heart. Before I go, I do have one question to ask you. I've had some free time so I reimagined the cover for "Ravens and Writing Desks" and I would like you to vote next to the cover you prefer.
