7. Visiting hours

Lizzy was standing outside and she was looking at arriving cars. There were all kinds of cars. She knew nobody will visit her but she has a small hope. Her parents will not leave her just like that, right? But it's true that this place is far from Lizzy's home.

Lizzy was really nervous. Even if they'll come, what would she say to them? She was no better with alcohol, because there were still parties with alcohol. Suddenly, she saw a car.. car of her grandparents? It was strange. She didn't knew that her grandparents wanted to see her.

She came closer to the car. Its door opened and Lizzy saw.. her sister, Chuck and her brother Charlie. Then her grandmother. Lizzy was thrilled. She came to Chuck and she hugged her.

"Chuck! What are you doing here?" Lizzy asked and then she hugged Charlie and her grandma. Her parents weren't here. She expected that.

"Well, we came to visit you. You have a lot to explain." she said and she looked at Lizzy with a disappointment in her face. "Why did you leave without telling us?" she continued.

"I think your parents had done a big mistake. This is not a place for you." Lizzy's grandma said.

"We can talk, but come inside." Lizzy said. She felt no guilt because it was all her choice. She looked over her shoulder, while they were walking into the building, she was looking for Lucas. She wanted to know if he's alright. She saw a big beautiful ford del rey. It was hard to find and buy this piece. Then she saw parents getting off that ford, they were probably very rich. The man has a suit and his wife had really classy dress. Everyone in the yard was looking at them. And then Lizzy saw Lucas walking to the rich couple. He hugged them impassionately and it seems like he was unpleased with their present. Lizzy couldn't believe they were parents of Lucas and she told herself that she will go and see him later.

Lizzy and her family came to the dining hall and they sat down to the table. The whole room was filled with parents and their children. Lizzy saw Amanda with her parents and probably a younger sister and then she saw Karma with her mum. 

"So, tell us what happened." Charlie said and Lizzy told them everything. How she realized how addicted she is and how she came here. She didn't tell them about her plan to escape, obviously. When she finished, she felt a little relieved.

 When they heard everything, they were a little sad. "Lizzy, you can't just leave us like that and expect we're not going to worry." Chuck said.

"I'm sorry I just didn't want to make troubles. Believe or not, it's not that bad in here." She was thinking about Lucas and her friends. She really started to like this place.

"Okay, we believe you. I'm sorry your parents couldn't visit you, they have a lot of work." Her grandma said and Chuck pulled out a little packet from her backpack. She gave it to Lizzy and she smiled. 

"I thought you will want this." 

Lizzy take the packet and she hold it for a second. Then she started to unpacking it and then she saw a little camera in it. It was her vintage camera, which she used to shoot with. Lizzy love her camera, it makes her image old and.. beautiful, poetic. She smiled at her sister, she stood up and she hugged her. 

"Thank you, Chuck."

"We love you. I love you, my big bad sister." They laughed and Lizzy was so happy that she have a family like that.

After the visiting day, when all parents had left, all students went to their rooms. Everyone wanted to be alone. It was depressing because even if you saw your family, which is great, you're even more sad after. They are living their lifes, while the problem kids are living in this place.

But there were some kids that were hanging out. For example Lizzy with Amanda. They were sitting on bench outside and they were talking.

"My mum came to me and she said she is proud of me. Why the hell is she proud of me? Because I'm such a mess?" Amanda said and Lizzy shrugged her shoulder. She was happy with her visit.

Suddenly Karma was walking nearby and she came to girls. She took an angry look at Amanda and then she spoke: "I want to talk to my friend, can you be bearable just for this moment?" she said to Amanda and Amanda just nodded. "If you will be normal." she added.

Karma sat down next to Lizzy and she sigh.

"My mum is disaster. She said I am thinner than the last time and she want me sent elsewhere. I don't see the point." Karma said with tears in her eyes. "I didn't vomit at all."

"You're serious? They can't do that." Lizzy said.

"Just tell her they can suck your.." Amanda didn't finish, because she was so angry. It seemed for a minute that everything is normal between Karma and Amanda.

"Well, I tried.. She didn't change her opinion. I think, she'll send me away." She hugged Lizzy and Lizzy felt tears rolling down Karma's cheek. Lizzy couldn't believe what is happening. Other place won't be better than this place. She can't lose her friend. She must do something.

Suddenly, Lizzy saw a grup of some kids walking down to Lizzy and her friends. They all looked pissed off or a little confused. They were all dirty a little, like they have escaped from some madhouse.

The group stopped a few meters from them and Lizzy saw a young girl who get the courage and she came to Lizzy. She was tall and skinny and she had a little dirty dress on, like she was on some party or something. She had brown hair, quite short and she was really beautiful in the face. Any boy would want her, Lizzy guessed. Lizzy would said that the girl is really nice and they could be friends, because the girl was looking congenial. But then she realized that the girl is pissed off. She was looking at Amanda and it looked like she want to kill her.

"Who are you?" Amanda asked because she recognize that face too.

"Oh, you didn't remember?!" The girl shouted and Lizzy was a little afraid. Okay, they couldn't be friends. Ever.

"No, sorry." Amanda said calmly and she was still looking at the girl. Karma was breathing heavily and was probably as scared as Lizzy.

"I'm Sarah. And you're Amanda. You called me at your stupid party! And guess what happened?" she looked crazy a little, because she was so angry. And Lizzy suddenly realized that these were the people, who nuns caught at the party. They were locked in the solitary for a week.

"Aaaah. I know now. I'm sorry what happened." Amanda said but it didn't sound true at all. Lizzy thought that Amanda is playing with the fire.

"You stupid little ass. You know how horrible it is in the solitary? This was the worst week in my whole life. And that was because of you. You did this party.." Sarah said and she was shouting at Amanda.

"You didn't need to come! It was all your choice! You're lucky, I guess." Amanda stood up and shouted too. The group was staring at the situation and so was Lizzy with Karma.

"You said that we are safe. You said that no one will find us. And guess what? They caught us!" Sarah was shouting and then she slowly stopped and she point her finger at Amanda. She said this words with normal voice, which was even scarier than shouting: "You will regret this. You will regret that you'd ever been born."

Then she looked at Lizzy and Karma and she was staring at Karma a little longer, like she was recognizing her and thinking about something. Then she turned around and she left.
