*Lisa*
I woke up the next day with a nagging suspicion that something bad was going to happen today. What that would be and how bad it would be, I didn't know. But I wanted to know. I was scared of that something bad to actually happen. Enough bad stuff has happened to last me a lifetime, I didn't want anymore. What's worse is that.....somehow, I didn't think the bad thing would happen to ME directly. It was like....it was going to happen to someone else. I sat up in bed and shrugged. It's nothing, Lisa, I thought.
"Absolutely nothing," I said out loud. There was a knock at my door and I knew who it was before they said anything. "What do you want, Mom?"
"Can I come in?"
"Shoot," I replied.
"Hey," she said, coming in. "I wanted to talk to you before you went to school."
"Okay," I said, walking to my closet.
"Well, it's about Aaron," she said. I sighed. Of COURSE it was!
"What about him?"
"He says you've been acting.....strange lately, still," she said. I grabbed a plain green long sleeve shirt and a pair of jeans.
"And?" I said, like it was nothing.
"He wants me to talk to you. He says it's affecting your grade," she said with that concerned mother voice. I stayed in my closet and swapped my p.j bottoms for my jeans.
"And?" I said again, plainly just to bug her.
"And? That's all you have to say? And?" she asked, clearly outraged. I pulled my tank top off and yanked a new bra and shirt on.
"I don't see what it matters to you," I snapped.
"Honey, you're grade is going down and I'm worried about you. It's not like you to let your grade slip so drastically," she said.
"How drastically are we talking here?" I asked, coming out.
"We're talking from a nice A to a solid D," she said. I raised an eyebrow. Really? From an A to a D? We'll just see about that, I thought as I ran a brush through my hair. She just watched me, awaiting my response as I got a little makeup on. When I finished, I sighed and looked at her in my mirror.
"Yes, mother?"
"I was just wondering what your explanation is."
"Well, I've just been a little distracted lately."
"With what? What could you possibly be distracted with?" she asked. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth with her following me. "Well?"
"Give me a sec," I said, getting my tooth brush ready. I brushed my teeth, avoiding her staring at me. When I finished that, I got ready to answer her. "Stuff," I smirked.
"Lisa, be serious here," she said.
"Alright, alright. I'll take care of it. I'll ask Mr. Peterson for some extra credit to boost my grade, happy?" I said. She looked down and sighed.
"Fine. Don't let this happen again, then."
"Yeah, yeah," I said. She left and I went to get my shoes on and get my back pack. Something bad WAS going to happen today. And I was right. It wasn't going to happen to ME.

I got to school and the first thing I see is Trisha standing right in the middle of my regular parking spot. She was so freaking lucky that we were in the school parking lot or else she would be flat as a pancake right now. Okay, that was horrible. But you gotta admit, she deserves it. I pulled into the empty spot right next to it and got out of my car. She smirked at me.
