Samantha's POV

Okay shit just happens. Sorry for my use of language but SHIT JUST REALLY HAPPENS! I sigh As I walk more slower. Well No running in the hall. Why out of all the people I bumped into is the person I don't wanna deal with for the first thing of the month? Yep shits happens. Punish me now dear God! Let the earth below eat me now like I'm some tasty mouse. I sigh once again for the second time " I hope I don't bump into him again" I mumble into no one in particular. I squeak as I bump into someone making the books in my hand fall to the cement floor. I scurry to the ground picking my books. " Oh my gosh I'm so sorry for bumping into you I didn't-" I stop mid sentence of my rambling apology as my ocean blue eyes collide with light blue one's. GREAT JUST GREAT! FIRST I BUMPED INTO RED NOW I BUMPED INTO THE OTHER GUY I DON'T WANNA FACE FIRST THING IN THE MONTH! Funny right? Ironic right? Funny funny funny very very very. " Oh hey... I'm gonna just pick up my b-books" I said awkwardly picking up my books. He stares at me but he stayed quiet. Ace sigh's kneeling down to pick up a book we look up simultaneously our head bopping into each other "Ow!" We yelp in unison as we clutch our foreheads. "I'm really sorry I didn't mean to-" I was cut again by him laughing as he started to snort. I can't help but laugh along. He calms down looking at me with a smile he's smile is really cute though "Nahhh, It's fine" He said standing up. He took a hand out waiting for me to ake. I stare at his hand hesitating to take it, Just take it!. I smile taking his hand as he help up to my feet. "Thanks Ace" I said dusting of my uniform "No worries, here let me help you" he said getting almost all my books "Hey! Those book are heavy!" I said trying to get some from his grasp when he walk forward "I know, I don't wanna get you squashed by these heavy books when the library is so far" He said giving me a teasing smile. I pout crossing my arms as I glare at the raven haired boy which I missed talking with, to be honest. "You are so mean" I said coming beside him as he chuckles "I am saying a fact, Sam" I playfully slap him making him laugh louder. We walk toward the library. He opens the door as we walk inside. He walks toward where I usually sat? Huh? He knew I am studying the very back? He placed the books on the floor as he sat down. He looks at me patting the space beside him. I obeyed sitting beside him I smile as I take a book. "How do you know I study here?" I ask leaning a bit on the bookshelf. He scratch the back of his neck "Well... Uh I-I was uhmm k-kinda" He stutter out as I realize what he was doing "We're you stalking me?" I said snorting as I stifle a laugh Same ol' Ace he blush "N-No! I wasn't I was only uhhhh guarding you? Y-yes GUARDING YOU! Hehe" He laughs as I gave him a I don't believe you look "If you say so?" I say looking at him weirdly as I open the book in my hand.

Ace's POV

I sigh in relief Good thing she bought my excuse. Silence suddenly surrounded the both of us. The only sound I can hear was my pounding heart. Pounding rapidly like it's going to rip of my rib cage. It's been month's since we last talked I thought she was angry at me for controlling over and stopping her from making new friends. Come to think of it, I knew the reason why she was constantly avoiding me for the past month'. Is that she is studying really hard considering she always carries books around and would spend her free time at the Library or the Campus garden. Sticking her face at a book. Yes people, I, Ace Dela Cruz is officially and truthfully admitting that I am stalking her. I watch as she reads out from the book. Her eyes crunched up as she concentrates her beautiful ocean blue eyes going up and down the book as she scans every letter. But the thing that made me kind a flustered is the fact she's biting her lip. I blush She looks really cute. But my lips formed into a frown as I stare at her eyes. It have dark bags under it Haven't she slept well?. Maybe from what I said to her made her restless? Or was she studying too hard that she doesn't get enough sleep? "Have you've been sleeping well?" I ask out of the blue. She stops looking at me, now I can clearly tell she's been restless. My face looks at her with worry and patience as I wait for her to answer "I- I have been sleeping well" she stutters I know that's a lie "Your lying, There are bags under your eyes? What happened? I-is it about what I said to you last three month's" I said my voice laced with sorrow and guilt. Her eyes widen "NO! Uhmmm no it's not your fault Ace, I was just really want to beat Joseph as a top student and-" She stops as I put my hand on her cheek. The familiar coldness of her skin made me shiver a bit, but in a positive way. "You don't need to push yourself too much. You should relax once in a while. Get some sleep okay?" I said brushing my thumb at her soft cold cheek. I stare at her my eyes suddenly looked at her small pink lips before looking back at her ocean blue eyes. This moment is perfect! Will I take away her first kiss? My heart started to pound so fast again as I lean a little closer to her. She blush bright red but nevertheless she slowly closed her eyes. I started to lean it closer...
