Chapter 16

Ace's POV

'Where is she?' I thought as I look frantically at the door of the Greenhouse. She's 2 minutes late! Good thing, Mrs. Pots is not here yet. "Are you okay bro?" I turn to look to my side were Joseph stood. He looks at me worries lingering in his eyes. "I'm fine it's just that S-" "Samantha is not here?" I blush hitting his shoulder playfully while he chuckled "Darn you, stop reading my thoughts!" He snorted as he stiffle his laugh. "Come one men, you keep denying that you like her." he said smirking at me smugly as his eyes held mischief. "I don't fancy her, okay?" I said crossing my arms a light blush visible in my face. "Oh right you dont" Phew he doesn't know " Because you Love her!" He practically screamed I clamps my hand on his mouth shusing him, as the other's look at me. "I don't! What about you!? You obviously like Nash!" I whispered yelled at him. He blush as he suddenly licked my hand "Ehewww! Gross dude!" I said frantically wiping off the saliva of my hand "Jeez digusting". He chuckled as he looks behind me "Oh! Speaking of the Ice Devil!" I look behind me to see Sam. I smile as I see her. But my eyes flicked at her face. As her pale cheeks held a pink hue. Why she blushing? She came beside Sky who was on my left. "Sam what happened to your face? And why are you late?" Sky asked her friend as she looked at her with curious eyes. "Oh! Nothing it's just Hot in the common room! And I keep on searching for my book" she said giving a smile, a rather timid smile. Her smile is different. Not the usual warm smile "Are you sure?" She asked again as Sam nodded. I'm going to ask her later. "By the way where's Mrs. Pots? It's already 6 minutes passed?" She said and was cut when the Greenhouse door opened reavling Mrs. Pots and a boy behind her. "Speaking of... Wait who is he?" Sky whispered to us as we scan the boy. He had Blond almost yellow messy hair and light green eyes. He wore a smile as he went beside Mrs. Pots "Good morning everyone!" Mrs Pots greeted smiling her usual cheery smile "Good morning Mrs. Pots" We greeted back as our eyes lingered at the unknown male beside her. "Before we begin. I would like to introduce to all of you a new addition to your Class" The boy stepped infrontt wearing a big bright smile. A little too bright. "Yo, morning people! My name is Gabrielle but you all can call me Gab! It's nice meeting you guys. I hope we all could be friends" he said winking suddenly at Sam. She blushed as I feel my blood boil. Gosh why are there so many darn males going after her? This is going to be a tough one. Why do guys always pull a stupid princely charming act around her? Oh? I'm one of them. Ian on the other hand looked pissed as he glared daggers on the Blond Dude seeing as he just did a sickly charming act toward her which he mentioned he really hate. Overly protective brother much? "Now Mr. Fletcher you can sit over there by Ms. Salvador" I looked at her wide eyes same goes with Ian who glared more fiercely. If looks could kill? Someone might be on thier death bed now. The Gabrielle dude grinned as he sat beside her. Great! Just great! "Okay now everyone Get your books for we will be observing your growing sprout dust. After observation, Check the current state of the plant with your books to see the progress. I want that plants to be healthy for it's needed to be made as medical suppliments" Mrs. Pots said smiling as we walk toward our Sprout dusts.

I wasn't focusing much on the Lesson. I was trying to eavesdrop the Certain Petite girl and Blond dude across us. I saw him say something to her making her blush and giggle. My hands gripping tight on my check list as I glare daggers behind the Boy's head. "Oi! Ace quit death glaring the new guy and focus on the Plant!" My attention snap toward Ian who was my partner in the so called plant of healing. "Can't you see what he is doing to your sister?" I said a little irritated as I ticked. "dude trust me I wanna murder the shit out of that dude for being a complete flirt toward my sister" He said gritting his teeth. Man! good thing Ian is not around to witness that I almost kissed his Little sister. My attention turned again to the blue haired girl as she smile at the blond male. I wish I was the one who make that radiant smile out of her. My eyes suddenly harden as he suddenly lean in her ears. I was jn complete jelous like rage but I try to atleast make myself composed and not lash on the damn flirt. Ian on the other hand didn't quite well handled the situation I am too battling for he suddenly yelled. "Oi! The fuck your doing to my sister, Dumbass!?" They both looked at his direction. Sam looked confused as Gabrielle looked pissed for interrupting his disguting flirting toward my Crush. Yes Crush. "Mr. Clearwater! Watch with your language or you will be sent to the discipline room!" Mrs. Sprout said as Ian grumble a sorry glaring at the Blond dude who was smiling a rather fake smile That bastard.

Samantha's POV

After what happened in the Greenhouse. We started to head out into the ground of the school. When suddenly a presence appeared by my side. I look up to see Gabrielle who whom became my friend minutes ago. He actually nice and cheerful. But a full on flirt. I got to know him a bit more. He possess the Magic of Nature. So that's why he was so good at the Herbology lesson moments ago. He unfortunately have no other ability. "Hey Salvador" he said as he walked beside me giving me a big grin "Oh! Hey Gabrielle" I said giving a small smile back at the Blond boy. "Oh! Just call me Gab we're friends after all right pretty lady?" He said winking making me blush. "Okay then... Oh! I like you to meet my BFF Sky!" I said "Heya Gabrielle it's nice to see your face with a bright smile almost too bright!" She said smiling as she extended a hand for him to shake. "The pleasure is mine, Ms. Sky" we all walked toward the forest. But I can't help but feel pair of eyes staring at me like I'm being watched. I look around as my eyes landed on electric neon blue one's who was already staring at me. I blush as I wave shyly as Ace. He waved back with a small smile. It's just me or I saw him blush a bit? Anyways, I can't help but think of what happened back at the library and the clinic. Ace was indeed an attractive person. I admit he's super cute and childish. Maybe he only See's me as a little sister? Maybe thr almost kiss happened was just his playful antics? I mean I do remember what Sky said to me back when we we're chilling in the common room.

Flashback

"I say be careful with Around Ace okay?" She said as she looked at me worried. I looked at her confused "Why is he a bad person?" I ask as I sit on the foot of my bed my arms crossed as I sat down. "No he's not a evil guy" "then why would you say that?" She sighs as she sat infornt of me "I mean I do really ship you guys you look so cute together. But I mean... I just don't want you to get hurt" She said as I began to wonder "get to the point already Silva" I said scrunching my nose from utter impatience and confusion consuming my thoughts. "Okayy. Just don't tell him okay?" I nod as she took a deep breath "Back in the days. He was actually a Playboy" She said Looking at my reaction "How can you say that? I mean he is a good person. He can be a flirt" "Samantha, listen. I don't trust boys too much. Back in the days he would date girls only to dump her because he is only taking things like a game. I know that because we we're classmates for almost like 3 years" she said now crossing her arms huffing. I look at her as doubts flooded over me as I remained quiet. Sky noticed this and put a hand on my shoulder giving it a light squeez "I just don't want to see you hurt. But I respect if you still like Him. Maybe you will change him if you confess" she said smiling softly. I look at her flashing her a small smile "I do like him a lot since we first met. But I'm just too cowered enough to actually confess what I feel. I don't care if he had alot of girls back in the days. I just really like him" I said sadly she pat my shoulder "I won't push you to confessing or believe what I said. But I'm here in any way! I'm your best friend I'm here to support whatever your decision would be!" She said. I smile ear to ear as I hug her. "Thanks Sky, your the best" I mumble as she wrap her arms around me "No worried Sam. It's what friends are for"

Flashback end

Touching times yes. But I still don't wanna believe he's a playboy. Whatever if he's a playboy! I like him! I know I shouldn't maybe I will get hurt Sky did have a point. But I just can't like I'm stuck to just only like him. It's like I just don't care what he is in the past. Maybe... I love him?

I mentally cursed as I shake my head. Gosh why would I think that? I mean we just been friends for months. Why would be like me anyways? I mean I'm short and flat and super pale. I mean there are more prettier and taller girls out there that he will fancy. Why would I even think he would like me back? Gosh this feeling is stupid! I just need to focus more on my studies! I have to shake of the feelings! But... Will I?
