Chapter 18

Narrator's POV

Ace knew something was off  "Sam! The robot is unstable we need to stop it!" He said as he keeps on dodging "But how!?" The girl yelled as she pants "Ace look out!" She yelled as she ran toward the boy. Tackling him to the ground as a punch was about to hit him from the robot. "Thanks" he said standing up "Don't mention it" she said if this isn't a serious situation she would be a blushing mess right now. She looked at the robot her eyes widen as she smiled. "Stay here I got a plan"she suddenly ran toward the robot. Ace processing what the girl is doing his eyes widen in fear. "Sam what are you doing!" Ace yelled as Sam suddenly came to a halt "Ice magic! The Ice grasp!" With that said giant hands made of ice emerge from the ground suddenly grabbing the robot in place. Ace looked at the girl amazed That's why I love that girl  he thought as he came to her side "I don't think it can hold it much longer" she said "Then let's give it a shot" the boy said as his neon blue eyes glowed bright blue. The girl nodded "Ice magic!" "Tech magic!" The chanted as a ball light appeared infront of them "Unification magic! The Ice cannon!" The other's looked amazed as they witness thier unification magic. They pointed it at the robots direction.

                              "READY!"

                                "AIM!"

                                "FIRE!"

A gust of wind circle the arena as a big cube of ice ball soared toward the robot. It hit the robot with a boom! The other's covered thier eyes or looked away from the massive impact and explosion. Once the coast is clear they look at the arena. Thier eyes widen at big smiles form in thier lips. The robot was frozen in place making it unable to move. They cheered as they look at the two creator of the massive ice Canon. Sam and Ace pant as they tried to regain thier breaths. Sam smiled as he turned to the boy. He return the favor with a loop sided smile as the boy suddenly falls to the ground with a loud thud. "Ace!" The girl yelled as she scrambled to his side. She placed his head on her lap as she shake him lightly "Ace wake up!" She frantically say she checked for any injuries. She lean her head on his chest as she sigh in relief. He just fainted, other than that he just have minor injuries, please wake up Ace . The barrier dropped as she looked to her side. Her friends was running toward them. "Sam! You're alright!" Ian said hugging the girl "Oh no! Heavenly bodies! What happened here!?" Ms. Flores voice bommed as she looked at the situation. "Ma'am Ace, we need to take him to the infirmary!" Sam said as she looked devastated. Ms. Flores nod as she looked at Joseph. "Thompson use your telekenisis to carry  Mr. Dela Cruz" the boy nods as he removes his glasses his hand glowed so was Ace's body. He started to float as they exit the Gym.

Samantha's POV
We barge inside the Infirmary's door. "Don't you know how to knock- Oh dear!" Ms. Yukina voices said as she approached Ace "Lay him there" she pointed as Joseph used his powers to lay him on the bed. He slumps on a chair. "What's wrong with him?" I ask as I look at Joseph who was sleeping soundly on the chair in a very uncomfortable position. "He's just tired dear, so is Mr. Dela Cruz" Ms. Yukina said as she looks at Joseph "Can you please move him on the spare bed?" Ian nodded as he lifted the boy "Man, he's really light" he said as he placed him on the other bed. Ms. Yukina placed her hand on thier heads mumbling something before a soft glow surrounds them. "There now will you all leave them be, they need rest. They're just drained for the amount of power they use and exhaustion, you all can visit later" We nod as I look at Ace one last time before leaving the infirmary. "Let's go to the Grand let's eat first"

Ian's POV

Throughout the meal, Sam wasn't eating and just picking with her food which was unlikely of her. "Sis, something wrong?" I ask as I look at her worried. "Oh, nothing I'm just worried about Ace and Joseph" she mumble. I knew she have feelings for Ace. And for sure Ace had feelings for her also. I saw the way he looked at her. I mean don't get me wrong I don't know anything about this lovey dovey. But I know what people looks or acts when they are inlove. I know I shouldn't be strict. But I just don't trust Ace for what he did to his past girlfriends. I just don't want my little sister to get hurt. "Don't worry okay? They will be alright" I assured her as I pat her head considering she's short. "Thanks Bro-Bro" she gave me a smile kissing my cheek. It's always an achievement to see her smile because of me. But I know she is still really worried.
Let's just hope that Dela Cruz won't hurt her.

Me and Sam walked toward the Infirmary it's just only me and her for we both have free time after lunch. We knock on the door, the door opens reaviling Ms. Yukina "Oh, come in you two. Your friends are alright" Sam gave a sigh while I nodded. We look at the bed to see them both talking to each other. Joseph look at us then nudged Ace. He looks at us then smiles. "Ace you're alright!" Sam said as she hugged the boy "Hey what about me!?" Joseph said making them laugh. While I stood there watching with alittle discomfort for my sister was still hugging the boy. "Whatever Joseph, I just glad you both are alright" she said taking a chair beside them while I do the same. "So how are you both? Does your body hurt? Or there are complications?" I ask finally speaking "Oh? Ian your here too?" Joseph said laughing. I tsk annoyed "Ofcourse I'm here dumbass!" I roared. Sam gave me a glare that said you're gonna be dead meat. I sigh crossing my arms. "To answer your question, My head does hurt a bit" Joseph said as he clutch his head. "What about you Ace?" Sam asked looking at him worriedly. "Well my body is just sore" he said glancing at me. Sam stood up putting a hand on both of them. She mumbled something then a soft glow lighten the room. It died down as they both gave a smile "Thanks Sam" she nods giggling as she sat back down. "I don't know you have regeneration Ms. Salvador" I turn to look at Ms. Yukina holding a tray with four cups of something maybe medicine or tea? She gave us a cup and I take a look. It's Camomile Tea? My favorite! I happily took a sip. As I hear Sam giggle. I roll my eyes playfully "Oh shut up" she laugh making me smile.  "Where did you learn that Ms. Salvador?" Ms. Yukina ask as she sat down across from us "Well, I just saw it from my mother's book in her mini library" she said as she blush from the attention "that's great. Regeneration is really useful. I actually possess the power since I was born. My family are healer's and herbalist" Ms. Yukina smiled as she took Sam's hand "If you want Ms. Salvador you can be my little assistant here at the school" she said. Sam eyes grew wide as she stared at Ms. Yukina "I'll think about it Ms. Yukina" she said kindly as the nurse nod "I'll give you time Ms. Salvador, you are a busy woman after all with study but I would like to hear your answer!" She said cheerfully as she
Turn toward me "How'd your parents Mr. Clearwater? I do like to have catch ups" she said I blush pink I do not like attentions and Ms. Yukina is kinda pretty. "Mom and Dad are alright" I said flatly as I took a sip of my beloved tea. "That's great! I would like to pay a visit sometimes" she said as she gathered the empty cups. She stood up and smile at us "I'll leave you lot's here okay? Just call me when you need assistance" she said before walking to her office.

The bell suddenly rang. Good thing I have double free time today. Sam jump in her seat as she look at the clock "Oh gosh! I have Potions Next" she said as she turn toward us "I'll see yah in the common room later guys." She gave me a kiss in the cheek before leaving. "You don't have classes Ian?" Joseph ask as he looks at me trying hard not to snicker at the fact Sam gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Obviously, I have double free time and don't you dare laugh at my sister's antics moron" I said annoyed "You and Sam are really close huh?" Ace said as I smile "Yeah we are, I mean she is the only sibling I got" I answer looking at him with a glare "Listen Dela Cruz. You don't have to hide the fact you like my sister" I said he flinch as he looks at me with a fake confusion "W-What do you mean?" He said "Yeah don't hide Ace, It's obvious" Joseph pipped in as he chuckle. I glare at him making him shut up. I turn to Ace to see him red in the face "Don't play dumb Ace." I said firmly as he looks at me with hesitation "I... I do like Sam" he said as he look away "OTP!!!" Joseph yelled as he wave his hand frantically "Oi! Shut up! Are yoi gay or something!?" He puts his hand in a surrender as I turn toward Ace again "I don't trust you that much Dela Cruz. But if you wanna court chix especially my sister you gotta treat her like a fucking Queen with the fucking respect" I said my intense glare never leaving my face I know I may sound kinda harsh... Well Too harsh but yeah No one mess with my sister. He flinch making me smirk. "Anyways, I'll be going now I need to finish some of my Essay and free time is almost over" I said standing up. "You know Dela Cruz I would start if I were you" I said before walking out of the clinic.
