Ace's POV

We suddenly jump once the school bell rings. Shit I almost kissed her!!! I mentally curse to myself. My face blushed a scarlet hue. "I... uhhhh I-It's uhmmm We... we need to go t-to. Class is about to s-start" I stutter out as I stand on my feet. She stood up too quickly grabbing her books and bag. "I'll see you BYE!" she said scurrying away from the library. I sigh running a hand through my hair. I almost kissed her! I groan slapping my face. How will I face her now? What was I thinking?! I'm so stupid! Why did I do that!? I quietly curse flinching as I look at my watch "Shit! I'm gonna be late for class!" I said getting my bag speed walking out of the library.

Narrator's POV

It was just another days in class. A certain boy with round rimmed glasses concentrates as he write away in his notebook. He paying attention yes, but alas he wasn't. And what he's writing? Is something personal not school related. People have known is as someone mysterious and really serious persona. People know him as a person that only have great passion in studying and doing hard work. People are now Stereotypes nowadays. Just because he is possessing the magic of mind manipulation that doesn't mean he only crave good grades, have deep passion on hard work or labor and being a total know it all. Actually he never intended to be such a person like that. The person that everyone came to know throughout his school year. He just wanted to chill and just right poems, compose songs, and just do fun things and relax. Yes, he compose songs, but doesn't have the voice to sings compositions. Funny right? He actually just hides everything. Even his best friend don't know much about this. Because he is trying to fitting in. He is maintaining a persona people came to know about him.

Surely he is one of the top students. A genius that never fails on his grades and everything. But pne thing he failed so much was the word ROMANCE. A genius failed? Yes he failed. He was never perfect to begin with, and not even perfect to her. Nasherine Fisher. A pink haired girl with matching pink eyes the descendant of the Cupid the God of Love which is the magic she comes to posses. And yes, she it's true her powers in really invincible. Because, he had fallen in love with her. I know the cringe, But it's true he love her so much. No one knew about this, he is mysterious, He comes of kinda cold toward the girl. But that was he was asked to do. As much as he is serious on the face, his heart and mind are messed up. Wanna know why? They are in a relationship. Yes, Nasherine Fisher and Joseph Thompson are indeed in a relationship. Shocking right? Really confusing? Trust me he felt that same confusion once he came across the Love Magician, the he had came crashing head over heels for. The waves of confusion and hurt washes over him every time. You won't don't get it right? He doesn't either. For once he didn't understand. She was indecisive. She was mysterious. Yes she is just his type. She's like some addiction a really strange addiction to him. That he just doesn't can't get enough to fall each time. Was it her magic? Or was it himself?

He tried everything and anything just to make her be his girlfriend back in the summer. Joseph wants to be a perfect boyfriend ever to her. But was he not perfect and good enough when she said that "just don't tell anyone that we are dating"? or when she said that Was he shameful ? Was he never as good for her when she was acting cold toward him. Does she know that it's confusing him to the core? Does she knows that it was too much for him to handle? Does she know that it hurts so much that he can't hold her like the couple they are? Or just be a gentleman toward her and give her the love that she deserve? Does she knows it's killing him when he saw her laugh with another boy when it could have been him making her laugh so hard? Was she happy and contented without him. Was she not ready for relationships? Like she doesn't give a single damn about him. Like she only said yes just to toy with him. Yes, they are friends. Like it's only there. Then they would be more than that. Then they would act like strangers. They fought about this. But still here they are. She keeps on pulling him back and cutting him out. And here he is still into her like. He was hurting yet he just can't let go. To make it more ridiculous is the fact that their parents are into them being together. He was really confused like so much that he became lost. Actually he tried dating other girls over the summer. When she told him not to wait for her again. He tried to find someone who will fill the gap in his heart that she left empty. But everything just came barging over her all over again. He was so lost. He was so pained. That he started hating it, hating him, hating life that he wanna end it. But.... He just can't. It was her again. It's her that keeps him going yet keeps him dead. He was worried that maybe she'll find someone way better than him. He's scared that she's leave him alone without warning. He was so scared. He was so numb. But alas he still really continued to love her. He will continue to cherish her. He will continue to wait for her. He will love her if it's the last thing he'd do. He will be there for her. Even if she doesn't know it anymore. Even when she doesn't love him anymore. But he thought back again a single thought clicked to his mind as he wrote it down at the back of his notebook.
