Cassandra's POV.

I woke up in the same bed I had slept in, only, this bed had a ton of bricks stacked on top of me. And were they breathing?

I opened my eyes only to find Alika on top of me. This girl was like three hundred pounds. How can someone so small weigh so much. I tried to push her away but she kept pushing herself back on top of me.

After about five unsuccessful attempts I finally got her to lay across the bed with her head buried under the mountain of pillows. I knew for a fact I hadn't been asleep for long. Maybe three hours at most.I removed the pillows on top of her face. Maybe I should make an effort into keeping my only friend alive. Pretty sad huh.

"you do know I'm not a pet, so of course I count as a friend."

"Glad to see the silver didn't harm your attitude"I told Rora.

I was excited she was back. But no need to stroke her ego further.

"you do know we share the same mind.So everything you think of I can hear it also. Glad to see you missed me by the way, why don't we go for a run."

She had a fair point, I'm just ashamed I didn't think of that. I walked into the closet looking around on what to wear. Not that I had like thousands of options. Everything was Xander's.A wide variety of shorts and massive shirts that Alika hand picked from his closet.

"Woah, I'm not even gone for more than two days and our closet is full of a guys clothes. Did you get married without me or something"

I ignored her this time. Grabbing some shorts and one of Xander's smaller shirts. Time for some DIY. I walked to the dressing table.I cut the short length to reach my thigh. I took a bobby pin an adjusted the shirt to look a little tighter. Well since I had no bras, I made it a little loose on my chest. It was still tight but it would do for now.I should really go look for my bag.

I wore Alika's sneakers and went out of the house. When I arrived at the opening of the forest I stripped and let Rora take over. I heard the familiar cracking of bones but this time I didn't feel the pain. Rora broke into a run almost immediately. I felt as the breeze went through my fur. It felt satisfying. Soon enough I found myself in the clearing.

The can I had used to form the paste was still there. It looked clean, maybe washed away by the rain or something. I should probably pick some more leaves for the oil again, since my bag was MIA at the moment.

I jumped into the water which was freezing cold.I waited for my body to adjust to the temperature. Maybe that's what had happened the last time  I was here. Maybe Rora had just convinced me the water wasn't cold until my body got used to it.

I didn't know how long I had been in the water, but I felt like it was about time I went back. I had left when the sky had this purple hue and the sun hadn't started to rise yet. Now the sun had already started rising and the day was bright and chirpy. I turned back after Rora gave me control. I changed back to my clothes and picked the leaves I needed.

I was about to leave when I heard a twig crack. I wasn't going to have a replay of yesterday night. I had turned to start running when my waist was grabbed from behind.

"Don't freak out, it's just me." a rather familiar voice said.

"Ethan?" I asked.

"The one and only baby girl."he said.

I felt my heart rate go back to normal a little. I dont think I had ever been so scared.

"Your always weightless Tammy, where does all that food you eat go to" he said, using the nickname he had given me when we first met. Short for Tamasha.
