I froze when I saw her. Hindi ko na napigilan ang mga luha ko, ang panginginig ng balikat ko at ang paghikbi ko.

And yet I smiled at the sight of her.

I might look like I lost my mind but she looked like an angel. She is an angel.

Dressed in her wedding gown and long black hair wig, she was more beautiful than before.

Pero ng hawakan ko siya, that was the time the truth finally hit him.

Ann was as cold as ice, the warmth she once had was gone.

She was dead.

Ann has left me.

Lumuhod ako sa tabi ng kama kung saan nakahiga si Ann. I held her hand to my face.. and I cried loudly.

Bakit ngayon pa?

Bakit ngayon pa kinuha sa kanya si Ann?

All those years he waited was for nothing..

Nagsayang lang siya ng panahon!

Bakit hindi niya hinanap agad si Ann. They could've spent more years together. They could've had more memories.

She could've lived.

All the regrets came rushing into his mind. Why? Why now?

Pinilit niyang huminga, pero sobrang sakit. Sobrang sakit.

Everything was going as planned..

Hindi pwedeng mangyari sa kanila 'to. It was impossible. Hindi gagawin sa kanya ni Ann 'to.

Hindi niya ko iiwan. Hindi niya ko iiwan basta basta na lang.

He took Ann in his arms. His tears dropping on her cheeks. She looked like she was also crying.

Panaginip lang 'to. Panaginip lang.

Pero kahit anong gawin niyang pikit, hindi siya magising sa bangungot niya.

Hindi pwedeng mangyari sa kanila 'to. They were just starting. They were just at the beginning.

I never stopped crying and never left Ann's side..

..until the next morning when they needed to prepare her funeral.
