Today, I was going to the mall with my group of friends and we were going to shop until we drop.
I got ready in some comfortable but cute clothes and left my house with my black mask on with a white Nike symbol on it. My porch was really warm from the sun hitting it all day so I sat there and waited for my friends.
The sun shined on my face and I could already feel energy rushing through my body. Kind of made me feel like a super hero for a second. I'm the great sun energy woman, I guess. I don't even know what I'm thinking about, I'm Just bored okay?
My friends took forever to get here. I already made up a whole movie in my head surrounding a super hero who gets her power from the sun while waiting for these amazing idiots. They finally pulled up and pressed on the horn like I wasn't already outside.
I hopped into my friend Adalynn's car and we all drove off. We made it to the mall which took almost two hours with all of this traffic going on.
I took Adalynn's hand and we ran into the mall while the rest of my friends followed us. Adalynn ran up to one store as I ran after her. She was staring at this one pretty dress that would compliment her body perfectly
.
We all went in and looked at the dresses that were on the mannequins. The mannequins bodies fit perfectly in the dress. I feel like I wouldn't be able to fit into the dress like that beautiful mannequin.
"What are you thinking about Y/N?" Adalynn asks me.
"Even though the mannequin is an inanimate object I feel like I could never have that amazing figure. Why do they make mannequins look so perfect!?" I laughed at my own foolishness and Adalynn joined in.
"Yeah I agree. I really hope they start making mannequins with different body shapes so young girls don't end up like us." Adalynn says.
"Like us?" I asked.
"Girls who are literally jealous of a whole mannequin." She says.
"Yeah. I wouldn't want my little sisters to feel like this." I softly say with a sad expression.
"Yeah, me too."
"We should get going before we start crying over the stupidest things." I tell Adalynn before walking out of the store without the dress that only the dream version of me would be able to pull off.
Adalynn and me go to another store while my friends go to the food plaza to get something to eat. Adalynn moves to the counter with a bunch of clothes that she picked out for me and her.
They were pretty clothes but I don't really think I can wear such revealing things. When I heard Adalynn arguing with someone all my attention was focused on her.
I walked to the counter and saw a bunch of men trying to grab onto her. They looked drunk but still sober enough to walk around so there really is no excuse for this behavior. I walked right in between the man and my friend.
"Adalynn, are you okay?" I asked as I slightly pushed her back and away from these drunkards.
"How bout you mind your business, girl?" One of the disgusting males said as his spit reached my shirt.
"Okay, ew. This is my business because she's my friend, not yours."
"Well I can be more than just her friend." One of the men inched up towards us and reached over in order to grab my best friend by the arm.
The other man grabbed me roughly and pulled me aside as the first man grabbed a hold of Adalynn. The workers freaked out and tried calling security but the other men stopped them.
