She Fell Asleep With Her Soulmate

~Third Person~ 

"Yoooooo!" Josh yelled out through the Sway house. Bryce looks down from the top of the stairs and shushes Josh.

"No I will not shush." Josh ran up the stairs and shook Bryce with a big smile on his face.

"Why are you so obnoxiously happy? And what the hell happen to your face?" Bryce says as he rubs his head.

"What?" Josh touches his face.

"Uh. Who punched you in your face?" Bryce shoved Josh in front of the mirror. At first all Josh was paying attention to was the soulmate mark that Y/N left behind. He couldn't help but smile but pain spread out through his lip.

"Oh, you mean Chase's bitch ass. Yeah we fought but that's not the best part of what happened, Bryce."

"Hold on, let me sit down for this and go slow because I'm a little slow." They chuckled and then Josh started telling Bryce the whole story.

At the end of the story Josh had a big smile no matter how painful it was he just couldn't control it. 

"Damn bro, Y/N must be some girl. Wish she was my soulmate." 

"Oh, yeah bro, I'm sorry Addison ended up not being your soulmate. Should we talk about something else then?"

"Nah bro I know my soulmate is out there I just can't wait to find her but I'm fine listening to you talk about your happiness cuz that's what bros do."

"Bro..." The boys fake cry while hugging each other but even though they were playing around they know that their words still meant something to each other.

Josh continues gushing about every little thing he found out about Y/N when they were hanging out on her porch.

"You know what's funny? You could've kissed this girl on the lips and you chose to go for the cheek. 

"I just met her Bryce."

"But she's your soulmate."

"Exactly, we're meant to be together forever so why rush everything? We have all the time in the world. That's what I love about this soulmate thing. You don't have to be scared about not knowing how much time you have left with someone."

"What if she dies?"

"Jesus Bryce, What the fuck?" Josh looks at Bryce with disgust. 

"I'm just saying. We don't know the full extent of this soulmate thing. What if something bad happens and then you aren't able to love anyone again. Remember the color black? That color never goes away. Once your soulmate's heart breaks that it. You can't bring them back."

"Bryce, I don't know if any of that is going to happen but I'm not going to rush everything based off of fear. I want to take things slow with her."

"I think it's better to just confess everything and get right to the point. I understand though bro."

"Thanks. Should I text her?" Josh fiddles with his phone when asking this question.

Bryce just laughs at Josh.

"What's so funny?" Josh yells at Bryce.

"Bro, just text her stop freaking out. She's the love of your life."

Josh couldn't help but smile at Bryce's words. He texted her asking to hang out and she replied immediately.

"She said she could hang!" Josh jumped on the bad and threw himself onto Bryce, airing him out.

"Ugh, just go away with that lovey dovey crap, Josh." Bryce coughs these words out as his lungs burn for air.

"Alright fine, old man" Josh leaves the Sway house and drives to Y/N's house.

He walks up to Y/N's front door. Josh knocks on the door and Y/N opens the door almost immediately. Butterflies fill both of their stomachs and they feel their hearts stop just from the sight of each other. They smile at each other as Y/N goes to hug Josh. 

They embrace each other for a long time, when they separate their hearts still feel connected and they loved the feeling of it. They looked at each other while desire burned their hearts.

"Oh, come in!" Y/N says with a smile.

Josh enters the house with a big smile expecting to see Y/N's family but there was no one to greet.

"You live alone?" Josh asks in a sad tone. 

Y/N looks towards the living room and speaks.

"No, I live with my best friend but she's been going out with her boyfriend a lot..."

Josh's mark turn blue again. 

"Way to go, Josh." Josh whispers this to himself.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" Y/N smiles at Josh before grabbing the remote and turning on the TV.

"Yeah, let's watch something heart warming." Josh says hoping to get Y/N's spirits up.

"Um, how about some action movies instead? Maybe we can watch all The Avengers movies?" Y/N said this excitingly as Josh looks at the mark turn yellow again.

With a sigh of relief, Josh agrees and settles down on the couch. Y/N plays the movie and sits next to Josh. Y/N awkwardly lays back onto the couch while Josh silently laughs at her actions. 

"Why are you so awkward?" Josh laughs.

"I'm sorry, it's not my fault." Y/N pouts and crosses her arms.

Josh puts his arm around Y/N's shoulders and pull her close to his chest. Y/N blushes madly but snuggles closer to him. It was Josh's turn to turn red. Y/N rested her legs on Josh's lap and her arms against his side. Her head laid on his chest while Josh traced circles on Y/N's forearm. The movie played as the two teens were silently watching.

The movie was almost over and Y/N was immersed into the movie until she heard snoring from above her. 

"How could he fall asleep at the best part?" Y/N pouted but as she watched Josh sleeping she couldn't stay mad at him. Y/N finished watching the last movie, Endgame, then turned the TV off. 

Then, she fell asleep with her soulmate...
