The Burrow

Alula said goodbye to her aunt and uncle early the next morning. When Alula landed in Ottery St Catchpole, Devon with the help of her cousin and godfather, she was surprised by the building which she had only known by its name. It looked as though it had once been a large stone pigpen, but extra rooms had been added here and there until it was several stories high and so crooked it looked as though it were held up by magic. Four or five chimneys were perched on top of the red roof. A lopsided sign stuck in the ground near the entrance read, 'THE BURROW'. Around the back door lay a jumble of rubber boots and a very rusty cauldron. Several fat brown chickens were pecking their way around the yard.
Alula, Lupin and Tonks approached the back door of the Burrow. Lupin knocked three times and Alula saw sudden movement behind the kitchen window.
"Who's there?" said a nervous voice she recognized as Mrs Weasley's. "Declare yourself!"
"It is I, Lupin, with Nymphadora, bringing Alula."
The door opened at once. There stood Mrs Weasley, short, plump, and wearing an old green apron.
"Alula, dear! Gracious, Lupin, you gave me a fright, you said that you'd be here yesterday! It's very early, I'm sorry I'm all flustered."
"Apologies Molly, Andromeda wanted Alula to stay another night, especially after, you know..." said Lupin, ushering Alula over the threshold.
"Of course," Molly smiled.
Alula looked around and saw that Mrs Weasley was alone, presumably due to the earliness of their arrival.
"I'd better be off," Tonks said quickly. "See you, Molly. Remus. Stay safe AlulaNova."
"You're leaving already?" Alula asked, sadly.
"Hey, you'll be fine here." Tonks laughed as she hugged Alula.
"Dear, why not come to dinner at the weekend, Remus and Mad-Eye are coming?"
"No, really, Molly. . . thanks anyway. . . see you later."
Tonks hurried past Lupin, without even looking at him, into the yard; a few paces beyond the doorstep, she turned on the spot and vanished into thin air.
"Well, I will see you at the weekend, I'm needed by Dumbledore," said Lupin. "Take care of yourself. Molly and you, Lu."
"See you soon," Alula said, hugging her godfather.
He made Mrs Weasley a bow and followed Tonks, vanishing at precisely the same spot. Mrs Weasley closed the door on the empty yard and then steered Alula by the shoulders into the kitchen.
