I apologise, this chapter is a bit mental...
but I love cats so...APRIL
Aquarius' POV
I turned to Libra who was reading a script.
"Lib," I poked her.
She ignored me.
"Libby," I poked her again.
She turned away from me.
"Libra!" I prodded her hard.
"Aqua! That hurt!" She glared at me, rubbing her forehead.
"We should get a cat," I said.
"A what?" She raised an eyebrow.
"A cat," I repeated.
"A cat?"
"A cat," I nodded.
"Why?"
"Because they're cute and fluffy,"
"But why do we need a cat?"
"Do we ever need a proper reason to do anything? Logically, we're adults, and we have money since there's thirteen adults living in one house. Plus, it can be like a cute fluffy small guardian angel to Can's baby!" I finished my little speech with a grin.
"Ask Can," she looked back down at her script.
"Fine. I will," I stalked away from her.
I found our resident pregnant nurse in the kitchen with Leo and Pisces, all of them were eating ice cream.
"Can we get a cat?" I asked.
Pisces and Leo jumped at my sudden appearance.
"I thought you'd never ask!" Cancer beamed. "I love cats!" She added.
"Yay! Let's go find Gem and Taur and Sagi and-,"
"Let's go to the shelter to find a kitty!" Pisces had recovered from her surprise pretty quickly.
"Yes!" I nodded.
"Let's go find the others and tell them we're getting a kitty!" Leo appeared from his perch on the kitchen counter.
Shortly afterwards, we had everyone gathered in the lounge.
"We're getting a cat!" Pisces grinned.
"What?" Capricorn asked.
"A cat?" Mini raised an eyebrow.
"A cat!" Taurus chirped.
"A kitten!" Leo nodded.
"Yay!" Sagittarius clapped like a five year old.So me, Can, Pi, Leo, Sagi, Taur and Gem went to the shelter to find a cat, the others went to get food and stuff for it.
"A boy or a girl?" Gem asked.
"A boy, there's seven girls in the house!" Leo chirped.
"What about my baby?" Cancer shot him a look.
"He's not fully grown so he counts as half, like a cat," Leo argued.
"Meh he has a point," Pisces agreed.
"A boy cat then. Cools," I bounced in my seat as Taurus parked the car.
"Out we go," he grinned, taking the keys out."He's so cute!" I was currently holding a newly born kitten in my arms as everyone cooed at him.
"He's so small!" Gem marvelled.
"Look at his tiny paws!" Sagittarius grinned widely.
"Can I hold him?" Pisces asked.
I nodded and carefully gave him to Pisces like he was a newborn baby- technically he was, but a cat.
"What should we name him?" Leo asked.
"Orion," Taur suggested.
"Orion," I agreed.
"Hey Orion! You're so cute," Pisces nuzzled his fur."I can't believe you actually got a cat," Virgo said.
"We'll take him to the vets tomorrow for his chip," Scorp suggested as he played with Orion.
"And get a cat flap," Cap suggested.
"Yeah," Libra nodded.
"We've only had him for half an hour but already I'd do anything for him," Aries said.
"Well how can you resist this little face?" Pisces gently put Orion's face in front of her husband's.
"Hey cutie," he cooed, taking the kitten into his arms.
"He has a pet name but I don't?" Pisces pouted.
"Sweetie or darling sounds like I'm over fifty," Aries answered.
"Point taken," she agreed. We all laughed.Orion: a little cat I found on Pinterest.
