Chapter 13- shopping & saying goodbye

Pisces' POV
"Cancey," I said.
She looked at me over a baby names book.
"You need to buy stuff for the baby," I said.
"I have two more months-,"
"But Scorp is going in less then two weeks," I pointed out.
"Fine. But I'm not shopping. Ask Scorp to babysit you," she turned back to her book.
"I'm going to find Sagi, Leo and Mini to come as well," I decided.
"Whatever. Just no destroying anything like last time," cancer said.
I started walking out the lounge.
"Pi can you give me Orion?"
I turned back around, picked up the cat from the sofa and put him on Cance's bump.
"Bye," she said, turning back to her book as she stroked Orion.

"What do babies even need?" Sagittarius asked.
"Clothes, food, blankets, toys, furniture," Mini listed off.
"Okay I get it!" Sag pouted.
"Shut up children," Scorpio said from the driver's seat.
"So where do we get all this stuff?" Leo asked.
"Baby R us?" Mini said questioningly from shotgun.
"Sure. What about furniture?" I asked.
"Some furniture store," Scorpio answered as he pulled into a car park.
"Let's split up! Mini, Scorp and Leo get furniture and me and Sagi get blankets and stuff," I suggested.
"No. Me, Leo and Sagittarius get the furniture and you two get the blankets," Scorpio said.
"Spoilsport," Leo muttered.
"Get out," Scorp rolled his eyes.

"Ooh cute!" I cooed.
"Pi we can't buy everything you think is cute, we can't buy the whole shop," mini rolled her eyes. "Maybe if you have a baby," she added.
"Hey look! It's so cute!"

"How do you do this?" Scorpio frowned.
"Screw that in then connect them," Aries answered.
"No we connect them then screw them in," Cap answered.
"Follow the instructions," I suggested, throwing the booklet at them.
"Thanks Pi," they said in unison.
I snorted and left the room and went downstairs.
"Are you sure you didn't by the whole shop?" Aquarius asked.
"Yes. I was pretty clear," Mini answered as she handed Cancer a folded onesie to put in a pile.
"Hey what names were you thinking Can?" I piped up.
"You can name him after me if you want!" Leo chirped from where he and Virgo were sorting out baby books.
Virgo hit him over the head with 'tabby mctat'
"Ow!" He winced.
"What sensible names were you thinking of?" Virgo cleared her throat and ignored her husband.
"You'll see," Cancer grinned.
"You're so mean," Taurus sighed.

Two weeks later

"Is it bad I want a baby now?" I turned to Aries as we said goodbye to Scorpio.
He started choking.
"Ari? What?" I frowned.
"It- it's nothing. Let's join the others," he coughed.
I shrugged and we went over to the group.
"How long will you be?" Gem enquired.
"A year at most," he answered with a pained expression.
"You can send letters! We can send photos! Every week or month!" Aqua chirped.
"Yeah. I'd like that. Thanks Aqua," Scorpio gave a strained smile.
"Bye. No getting killed," Cap hugged him.
"Yeah got it, promise not to get hurt," Scorp nodded. "Hey Can?" He turned to her.
She perked up.
"I just wanted to know.. if you would do me the honour of becoming my wife?" He went back down on one knee.
This time, I started choking.
Virgo clapped me on the back as Cancer started crying and nodding at the same time.
"Well that was unexpected," Taur said.
"Well surprising, not unexpected," Sag corrected.
"Bye Scorp! We'll miss you!" We all waved as he shoulders his duffel bag and went onto the bus.
