Minni, or more known as Minji before debuting, looks at herself in the mirror of the big, dark, empty practice room. She had her arms around her knees as she was sat down after just crying.
She didn't know why she felt miserable. She was one step closer to her dream but she wasn't happy. It had only been a year since she became a trainee and yet she already wanted to give up but her pride was too high for that.
Not having anyone beside her, to ask or make sure her how she was made it much more harder. Sure, she like keeping her feelings to herself but it sure would be nice to know to have someone to lean on.
"I was so stupid to believe I could get through this. Funny thing is, I was even confident about wanting to do this but look at me now. F*cking miserable." She mumbles to herself and one last tear fell off her eyes.
Suddenly, the door opened. Minni looks back to see who the person was only to be taken aback. It was her sunbae, T.O.P of BIGBANG.
"Hey. Sorry, I thought no one was here since it's quiet." He said to the girl as he stood by the door.
"That's okay sunbaenim, I'll be leaving anyways." Minni said as she stood up and started grabbing her backpack.
"No, it's ok. I still have to wait for the others anyways." He replied back. He closed the door and sat down on the floor beside Minni's previous spot. "Sit down beside me for a minute. I wanted to talk to you."
"What is it, sunbae?" She asked politely as she sat down beside him. "Just call me oppa, hmm?" Minni blushed as she nodded, and T.O.P chuckled at the cuteness of the girl beside him.
"Are you ok?" He asked as he looks at the girl. Minni looks up to him and smiled, but it was rather fake. "Of course, I am. Why wouldn't I be sun- oppa." She corrected herself.
T.O.P chuckles lightly. He puts his arm around her and started caressing her back, somehow comforting her. "It's ok to cry, or to want to give up. That's only a phase of reaching your dreams." He told her.
"Did you want to give up as well?" She asked. "I did. Sometimes, I still think about it." The senior admitted to Minni, and this surprised her. "Life is hard that sometimes it just makes you want to let go. But I think you have the guts to go through it." He said.
"What if I don't?" T.O.P stood up and patted his pants as he just sat down on the floor. Minni followed him with her gaze as he stopped at the door.
"If you had the guts to go here, knowing what you had to go through... Why can't you have the guts to push through, right?" He looks back to Minni one more time and gave her a small smile.
That was the moment Minni realized she wanted a guy like T.O.P. A partner who would realize and understand the hardships she's going through.
