Taehyung felt his patience wear off and boredom rise nimbly as he sat at the backseat of Jin's car alongside an equally bored out Jimin. They just got stuck in another traffic jam right after they somehow managed to escape the first one. Life.
The weather was quite sunny with a steady but very gentle breeze sailing through every now and then. A groan of exasperation slips past Jimin's mouth and he feels he might die out of a heat stroke but he was just being dramatic because he's tired after eating tons of food, they all were.
"Why do so many people have to go out at the same time?!" Jimin questions, voiced entwined with irritation and a yearning for simply throwing his body on his soft and warm bed after satisfying his growling stomach.
"I told you all to not eat like a horse," Jin chuckles while looking at the pair from the rear view mirror.
"Aahhhh c'mon hyung!" Jimin whines, slumping in his seat. "You know caféteria's food sucks!! And Mr. Lee serves great food plus he offered us a discount as well so it would have been downright rude to not take it!" He reasons, moving his hands alongside speaking to explain the gravity of his choices. "Besides, we wouldn't have been stuck here if hobi hyung didn't spend a century in the washroom!" He says, blaming Hoseok who had been silent through the whole ordeal.
"Are you trying to say that this is my fault?" Hoseok exclaims, turning his head back from the passenger seat to narrow his eyes at Jimin.
"Nope! I'm not trying, I'm saying that all of this is your fault!" Jimin remarks. "Who even does a water drinking competition at your age?!"
"Jackson and I do," Hoseok shrugs like it's the most normal thing to do.
"Yeah which is why you pee out a river!"
But before Hoseok could fire back something, Taehyung intervenes him by shouting out of nowhere, seemingly at the car right beside them.
"Hey!!.....Hey! Hey! Hey!"
"Tae, what are you doing?" Jin asks, confused at his sudden behaviour. But he doesn't stop and shouts again. He seemed very keen on eliciting a reply or a reaction from whoever he was shouting at.
Then, as unexpected and crazy as it could be, a dog, a Shiba Inu to be more precise, lifts it's head and looks out of the window at him.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! I would die for you!" Taehyung shouts at the dog, his eyes turning into crescents, beaming ever so fulgently like the moonlight.
