Jeongguk had asked Taehyung to go to the mall with him as a treat since he thought it'd help them bond better after everything that happened between them and Taehyung wasn't able to say no to the persistence standing tall in Jeongguk's eyes.

Albeit his nervousness but then when isn't he nervous near Jeongguk, he was really waiting for the said date with an unflagging elation.

A date?? Was it supposed to be a date or a simple friendly outing? Taehyung isn't sure and doesn't want to dwell on it either cause life is short and you rarely get second chances so when you do, you don't simply let go of it. Hence for the sake of his own happiness and fantasies he can and would consider this as a date without letting anyone know for obvious reasons. A boy can dream, right?!

After being all ready for their planned outing, Taehyung waited unbaitingly for Jeongguk. He was dressed in brown pants and a mustard sweater. It wasn't long before he heard his phone ding, notifying him of the ravenette's arrival.

"Minnie, I'm leaving!" He shouted from the other side of the door to Jimin's room and knocked at it to wake him up from his kinda late afternoon nap.

He had told Jimin about Jeongguk right when they both reached their apartment after the party. He was oddly silent throughout the whole ride amidst Hoseok's drunken babbles about how big of an ass Newton is and that he should have sat under a coconut tree instead of an apple and Jimin's incessant bantering about his weirdly nice encounter with the 'incredibly hot looking guy'. Typical.

He chose to hold his tongue till they got home cause there's a pretty high possibility that Jimin might crash them if he knew that the person he has been shipping him with was none other than Jeongguk.

It was no surprise to know how tired they felt when they entered the warm interior of their apartment so the thought of not getting to the heart of the matter right at that moment crossed his mind but before he could have decided on it, Jimin was already speaking.

"What's up with you?"

And again it was no suprise to know how Jimin read him like an open book so lying to him was not an option, it never has been. "I think i might have something kinda important to tell," he spoke, looking doubtful as he tucked the strands of hair falling on his forehead behind his ear, going to sit on the couch.

"Did you kiss?!" Jimin guessed, wiggling his eyebrows as he joined him.

"Yes." He said with a plain face, bringing his legs up to sit cross legged.

"You're lying." He said with a matching plain expression as his excitement dissicipated away.

"Why hurt yourself if you already know the answer?!" Taehyung said with a shrug as he smirked at his best friend.
