Chapter Six

Phil's POV
I can't believe I've finally asked her out! Well I've only known her for a day and asking her was a bit risky...but who cares I have a girlfriend!!!

Didn't see Dan when I woke up this morning though. But he left a note on his unmade bed saying 'going to get some early revision done, see you later :-)'. I don't know what's gotten into him but I'm a tad worried as he is lazy and I haven't seen him do any homework and trust me, I know he's had homework!

Dans POV
I was wondering around campus, wondering what my excuse could be...puberty? Nah to young...senior moment? Wait, waaay to old. AGGH I dunno!! Jeez, why did I have to get jealous?! Thanks mum for that characteristic...

I walk past this enclosed pathway when I see Emma with this boy, I couldn't see who he was though as it was to far away but I'd recognise that pretty perfect face from anywhere...woah Dan, calm your tits, jeez!

I was then thinking about what Emma was doing with that mysterious boy but I push it of to the side, deciding not to tell Phil otherwise he'll DEFINITELY thinks something's up with me...

I start to head back to mine and Phil's dorm. When I get there I unlock the door and walk in to see Phil sitting on my bed patiently waiting, for what?

"Hey" I say casually.

"Dan, where have you been? And don't say the library because I know we've only been friends for a couple of days but I haven't seen you look at any homework at all and plus there are no important tests coming up so I don't see why you would be revising!" Phil says like a conserned parent.

"Well, sorry mum! I had a little walk, look around the place and check what's where and all that, Mr I Know Everything..." I lie the best I can but I don't think that cut it...

"Why are you getting rude to me?! What have I done wrong? Nothing should be the answer?! But please, enlighten me with another one of your bullshit stories!" Phil now shouts but the thing that has caught my attention is that he swore. He never swears like he even said. I think this has pissed him off...

"Phil, I'm sorry I just felt kinda left out last night and felt awkward so I left, I'm so sorry it's just...your the first proper friend I've had and in the space of one day I was beginning to believe that I was wrong, I hope I'm not though Phil..." Well, it's the kind of truth...close enough!

"Oh Dan...come here" Phil brings out his arms for a hug and I accept, we hug each other for about a minute and it wasn't awkward it was just a nice silence, I like that. I let go and I had tears streaming down my face and Phil didn't say anything but just wiped them away with his thumb as he cupped my cheek. The moment was then ruined when I heard a knock at the door.

"I'll get it, you clear yourself up." Phil gently says. I replied with a nod and went back to my bed and just went on my laptop.

Phil's POV

I walk to the door and open it to see that pretty smile that is Emma.

"Hey, Emma! How are you?" I ask as she walks in and sits at the end of my bed. I see Dan glance across the room to Emma but then just goes back to looking at his laptop.

"Oh, just wanted to see you but your room mate is here so never mind" she says replying with a wink...what did she want to do exactly?

"Oh right..." I say awkwardly. I then see Emma walk towards Dan.

"Can you leave?" She asks kindly, I didn't say anything because I don't want to upset Emma.

"What, when it's my dorm?! I don't think so barbie doll!!" Dan shouts "but as you wish Queenie!!" Dan then says sarcastically, still shouting. And with that he grabbed his phone and laptop and stormed out before I could say a word...that shouldn't of happened.
