We Meet Again Part 2

1 Week later

Diggy-*Lifting Lacey in the air* Brrrrrr. He said with his lips to sound like an air plane.

Lacey-*Laughing*

Diggy-*Brings her down and kisses her cheek while resting her weight on his hip* Who loves you? He asks looking into her big brown eyes.

Lacey-Daddy does! She says with a big smile.

Diggy-*Smiles* Who loves me? He asks pretending to pout.

Lacey-Lacey loves you. She said taking her fingers and moving his frown to a smile.

Diggy-*Kisses her forehead* Okay let's get you ready. He says walking her over to the couch.

Lacey-*Sits in between his legs*

Diggy-Okay you gotta walk me through this baby girl. He says looking at her Afro of hair and the brush, comb and moisturizer.

Lacey-Ummm okay. Rub some of that in your hands *Points to the bottle of moisturizer*

Diggy-*opens the moisturizer and rubs it in his hands* *rubs it in her hair* Okay now what baby?

Lacey-Umm *Shrugs* do something with it.

Diggy-Umm okay. *Picks up the Brush and brushes through her hair*

Lacey-*Screams* OUCH DADDY NOT LIKE THAT!

Diggy-I'm sorry! I'm sorry! He says brushing more gently.

After about 30 minutes Diggy just went to option B- straightening Lacey's hair.

Lacey-Daddy please don't burn me. She pouted.

Diggy-I can't burn you if I don't know how to turn this on. *Smacks the flat iron in his hands*

Lacey-*Looks at Diggy*

Diggy-What beautiful?

Lacey-Did you graduate high school? She asks raising an eyebrow at him and pressing the on button on the flat iron.

Diggy-*Clears his throat* Yes, yes I did.

After Diggy finally got Lacey's hair out of the way they still had time to play around before he had to bring her back to you.

They played peek-a-boo, hide and seek in which Diggy always let Lacey win, she tried to comb his hair, they had kiss wars, they had tickle wars, until finally Lacey was getting kind of tired.

Diggy-And 3 go! *Starts kissing all over Lacey's face*

Lacey-*Whines* I don't wanna play anymore daddy.

Diggy-Awe are you tired baby? *Sits her on his lap*

Lacey-*Wraps her arms around his neck* I'm ready to see mommy now daddy.

Diggy-*Rubs her back* Okay. He simply said standing.

It hurt Diggy a little that Lacey was ready for YN. He wanted her to see him as a fun dad and wanted her to think it was exciting to spend time with him. But maybe she just needs more time to get to know him.

Diggy-*Pulls up at your house* *walks to the backseat and picks Lacey up out of her car seat* Stop sucking your thumb baby. He says as Lacey laid her head on his chest.

Lacey-*Whines*

Diggy-Your going to need braces.

Lacey-Braces are cool.
She said then immediately stuck her thumb back into her mouth.

Diggy-I had braces... *Pulls his out his phone and looks through his camera roll* See. He says showing Lacey an old picture of him with his braces and chubby cheeks.

Lacey-*Pulls her thumb out of her mouth* Okay I get it.

Diggy-*Chuckles and walks up the front door ringing the doorbell*

Lacey-Daddy I love you, your my hero.

Diggy-*Smiles* I love you too baby. *Kisses her forehead* But I don't even wear a cape so how can I be your hero?

Lacey-You don't need a cape, I still love you. *Smiles*

Diggy-Awee stop being so cute he says playing with the fur popping out of her ugg boot.

YN-*Open the door* Hey *Smile and take Lacey from Diggy*

Lacey-Hey mommy. *Kisses your cheek*

Diggy-*Smiles* She's tired just so you know.

YN-Awe okay. Did you guys have fun?

Diggy-*Looks at Lacey with big eyes*

Lacey-*Shrugs shyly*

Diggy-*Sighs*

YN-...Well thanks Dig I'll call you later. Say bye Lacey.

Lacey-Bye daddy.

Diggy-*Waves to her* Bye gorgeous sleep tight. *Walking back to his car*

Lacey-DADDY WAIT! She yelled with a big smile on her face.

Diggy-*Closes his door back and leans his arms on the top of the car* Yeah?

Lacey-I'm just messing with you. I had the best time ever, can you come get me tomorrow? She asked using good fluency for a 4 year old.

Diggy-*Smiles* Really? You had fun.

Lacey-YES! *Runs and jumps in his arms*

Diggy-*Holds her and strokes her hair with one hand* Tomorrow after school be ready to turn up!

Lacey-Chucky Cheese's?

Diggy-I'm talking all the tokens you could think of!

Lacey-OH MY GOSH! *Jumps up and down*

Diggy-*Smiles*

YN-*In the doorway* *Smile at them*
