‼️TW: K!dnapping & Attempted S*cide‼️
~
Today was peaceful. The only thing Stellum had to deal with was a simple mugging. Checking his watch, the unlit face read 1:40 am. Time for the boy to go home.
Standing up from his seat on the rooftop, he took a not-so-graceful leap off the office building. He knew full well what would happen. With a snap of his fingers a small star-shaped, translucent-lavender platform appeared, keeping him from falling to his death.
Swerving away from the deadly concrete, he glided lazily over the little traffic that was on the streets. Stellum spotted a figure on the roof of a tall apartment building.
Picking up speed he saw that it was a disheveled man. Then it happened, the man jumped off the building, plummeting towards his doom. Stellum acted quickly. Yes, he is a teenager, but he's still going to talk some sense into that guy. Catching the man, Stellum's platform widened to hold the him.
"Wha-wha-what?! Am- am I dead?!" The man panicked and frantically looked at the cars below him.
"You're not dead," Stellum said in a soothing voice, "You're alright."
"You caught me? Why?!" The man held on to the boy's biceps like a vise."I can't just let one of my citizens die like that."
"But I was trying to die!"
"Why would you do that?" Stellum said warily.
"Be-because the rent's overdo, my wife just had another kid, and- and my life's a mess!" The man's eyes started to water.
"Killing yourself won't fix anything. You wife had a baby, who's going to pay for school? Who's making the money for the rent?" Stellum paused, "Who would pay for the funeral?"
"I-I would." The man choked out. Stellum smiled under his mask.
"Who's going to look after his family?" Stellum said in a happier tone.
"I will." The man was still wary. Slowly floating down, Stellum said reassuring things to the man. When he walked off the platform onto the sidewalk, the man said his thanks.
"Remember, things will get better." The man ran and hugged the teenager.
"Thank you, thank you so much!" The man sobbed into Stellum's trench coat. Stellum pat the man's back.
"Now go make your family happy." Stellum said, pulling the man away. The man nodded and ran off. Stellum smiled to himself. Good job to him, he just saved a family. Stellum decided to do one last survey of the city square.
He spotted a car driving shakily and decided to check it out. He was 20 feet above the car when a woman was roughly shoved out of the passenger seat and onto the sidewalk. A carjacking in the middle of driving, how is that even possible?
The car swerved into an alleyway and hit a dumpster. Jumping off his platform and onto the car's trunk Stellum yelled,
"This will be easy if you comply, now come on out and hands where I can see them." Stellum reached into his coat and grabbed his pistol, just in case. He was about to speak until he was unceremoniously slammed into the car, denting it and probably braking a rib or two. Stellum immediately lost consciousness. Scrambling out of the vehicle, the carjacker escaped.
It was an incredible sight, but not in a good way. The person who knocked out the young hero was none other than Iron Man.
"You're coming with me, little bastard." Iron Man grumbled, hoisting the teen on his shoulder and flying away. Leaving the smashed car in the alley.

"You know anything else about this kid?" I said while looking through a list of tenants in Peter's apartments.
"Why do you even want to find Stellum so badly?" Peter said staring at the ceiling.
"So his name is Stellum?" I grinned. "That makes things easier, just have to google something real quick."
"Mr. Starrrrrrkkkk." Peter whined.
"See ya kid!" I grabbed my laptop and ran to my office to do more digging.
After I ran out of the room my smile fell. I was going to find this guy. Why am I upset? Peter blindly trusted a stranger instead of calling me for help, went to school against my wishes, and got sent to the hospital because he got in a fight.
It wasn't really hard to find him, I had his address from when I had to pick up Peter, just looked at the tenants list. His hero name was 'Stellum' so I looked that up, found a bunch of photos of him, and set out some drones in the city.
I pulled up the school's CCTV. Watching a little, I'm surprised about how he managed to hide from every security camera. Didn't see him once, he's like a ninja. The only times I saw him was when he was walking in and out of the high school. Either he knows where every single blind spot is or he has some incredible dumb luck.
Really hoping for the latter here. He might be smarter than I thought if not. Even Peter doesn't know where some of the blind spots are.
He was good, I'm not going to lie. Manages to stop trouble without making trouble himself. It looks like his first 'public' appearance was with Peter last night. After looking through some street CCTV from the past week, I spotted him. His suit was navy blue with plum at his legs, hands, and his head. On top of his outfit was a dark green overcoat. The getup was pretty simple. It kind of reminded me of a nebula. One more day of watching him and his body language. One more day of researching him and his family.
That's all. That is, until I saw it. And after seeing that? I had to watch him even more carefully.
