I wonder what I should make for dinner today. Huey thought.
"The carjacker!" He sprang upright in the bed he was laying in. Being completely disoriented with his surroundings, his eyes darted around, he was on high alert with his last memory being him in uniform.
A pain stabbed him in the chest and a shiver slid down his spine, he felt there was something wrong with where he was. Huey wrapped his arms around his chest as he slid down back into the bed. He hoped that sleep would take him and he would wake up in his own room. Someone quietly knocked on the door four times, then entered.
"Oh," Said a voice that brought déjà vu to Huey. "You alright, kid?" He turned to see the man.
"Tony Stark?" Huey said, quite doubtful he was seeing things correctly. His eyes wandered and looked at the windows behind the man. The sky was still dark, with a select few stars. Huey jumped up in the bed. "What time is it?!" He shouted.
"Whoa, whoa kid, calm down. It's," Tony glanced at his watch, "It's 3:23. Now relax." Tony tried to soothe Huey. "You're going to stay here the night, or can your family pick you up?" Huey eyed Tony nervously.
~
"Sure you don't need want to go to a hopital?" Tony asked in the doorway.
"I've done this before. I won't die." Huey was wearing spare sweatpants he was given, and was digging through a first aid box.
"Alright, yell if you need anything." Tony paused, "By the way, there's a little spider waiting for you on the couch." He said as he walked away from the bathroom.
"He's what now?!" Huey yelled from the door. He rushed to replace his bandages to see the boy from Sunday evening. He sloppily wrapped his wounds and ran out the room. Huey ran down the hall and into the large living room where Tony and a teenage boy were sitting on the couch.
"Spidey?" Huey said softly. The boy turned his head and a shocked expression took him. His eyes started to tear up, he ran over to the taller boy and engulfed him in a hug.
"ah fu- A little softer next time." Huey groaned at the sudden impact. "I missed you too." He hugged back.
"Hate to interrupt your little pow-wow," Huey glared at Tony. "But both of you should be home. Huey, we need to call your family." Tony walked to the couch and the two boys followed, hand in hand.
"Give me your phone." Tony said as he sat down.
"Don't have it." Huey said, deadpan, as he sat in a recliner.
"What kind of teenager doesn't carry their phone with them?" He stared, confused.
"I don't know, maybe a supe?"
"Uhg..." Tony groaned, "Fine, I'll call him."
"What?"
"I'm calling your brother, Dallas." Tony said, scrolling through his contacts.
"What?!" Huey sprang up, but instantly regretted it. "How do you know him?!" He clutched his ribs.
"He works for me. Now sit down and wait." Tony hushed Huey and walked far enough so that the boys wouldn't be able to hear the phone.
Huey sat down and sulked, dreading the thought of Dallas picking him up. It's not like he didn't like Dallas. Well, a little bit, that's beside the point. Dallas wasn't there for Huey a lot of the time, even though they were closer in age than Vincent or Riley, they didn't see each other much. Dallas made empty promises, a lot. It doesn't sit well with Huey, Dallas being the one to pick him up.
"He'll be here soon." Tony said, snapping the boy from his thoughts.
"Great." He slumped in the recliner. How bad of a brother do you have to be to get that reaction? Tony thought, sitting back down. The elevator ding could be heard from where the three were sitting. Quick footsteps echoed from the hall.
"What did you tell him?" Huey asked, not letting his nervousness be heard in his voice.
"That you're here and need to be picked up?" Tony said cautiously. Knocking rattled the door and a man appeared.
He had round glasses, blond hair, and a pale complexion with a ball piercing right under his lip. He was wearing such a dark suit you could barely notice that it's blue, with a matching shirt, and a contrasting red tie. He straightened himself out, closing the door behind him, and walked to his younger brother. He placed his hand on the recliner back, which was facing towards him.
"Huey!" Dallas smiled.
"Wow, you're on time for once."The room was quiet for a little, until Peter spoke up.
"You're his brother?" Peter asked.
"Yeah, we look a bit different." Dallas chuckled.
"That's because you're adopted. I'm getting my things." Huey got up and started walking to the bedrooms.
"Well that's kind of obvious." Dallas scratched the back of his head.
~
The three waited for Huey to return in silence. Dallas was sitting in Huey's seat while playing with the hem of his jacket, Peter was sitting on the couch with his knees to his chest wrapped in a cornflower blue blanket, and Tony was sitting in a couch across from Peter, staring at a wall.
"I suppose I should formally introduce myself," Dallas stood up and put out his hand, "Dallas Raburn, I'm Huey's older brother by 3 years." Peter stuck out his hand to shake Dallas', then did Tony.
"I'm..." Peter shot a look at Tony, warily, to which Tony nodded. "My name's Peter Parker, I'm younger than Huey by a year." It felt weird to call Huey by his name, after only knowing him as Stellum. Peter looked at the hallway, hoping for Huey to save him from this awkwardness. From the corner of his eye, Peter could see a shadow move in the hallway.
"I'll be right back." Peter said, slipping away from the two men. With a slight limp, he walked carefully to the room that his friend was in.

i kept on going back and forth with Tony saying "pow-wow", I know a tiny bit of the history behind it but most people only know it as an expression. If you want me to get rid of/replace it with something else please tell me. Thanks for all of your support.
