                                        Lillie's POV

Eventually, we landed on solid ground and Liana gratefully changed back into human form. The sky was already streaked with the colors of dawn, purple, and pink and blue all mixed together to create beauty. "Alola's sunrise is so beautiful," murmured Liana under her breath. I agreed with her. We took up walking after so long of floating through the sky, high and slowly so to look like a Flying-type rather than a girl and an Espeon. We trekked deeper into Akala Island, enjoying its majestic Pokemon and grand trees. "Where does Tapu Lele even live?" I asked her. Shrugging, she brushed a lock of hair behind her ear and answered me. "How would I know? You've lived here for your whole life," she replied. I racked my brain thoughtfully. "The Ruins of Life," I said finally. "Well, then. Where are they?" she questioned me. I clucked my tongue and jerked my head east. As we walked farther and farther away from where we landed, I heard Liana singing softly beside me.

"Once I believed, I could do anything,

And I built a world with room for only me,

But without you I am nothing,

And I've learned how strong together we can be,

I finally realized, tell me were you surprised,

Make my wish come true to be home at last with you,

Make my wish come true to be home at last.

You know every side of me,

All the hidden places I can't see,

That tear us apart, (tear us apart)

Or bring us together. (oooooh)

You know every side of me,

All the different faces that compete to share your heart.

Make my wish come true to be home at last.

Make my wish come true to be home at last with you,

Make my wish come true to be home at last.

You know every side of me,

All the hidden places I can't see,

That tear us apart,

Or bring us together.

You know every side of me,

All the hidden places I can't see,

That tear us apart, (tear us apart)

Or bring us together. (oooooh)

You know every side of me,

All the different faces that compete to share your heart.

Make my wish come true to be home at last with you,

Make my wish come true to be home at last."

Her voice grew stronger and eventually, she began singing clearly. Liana was as gifted in singing as Performer, and many Pokemon gathered at our feet just to hear her lilting song. "Wow," I muttered under my breath. "That song is fit for a queen," her face twisted into a smile, then a grin. "And Tapu Lele, it seems," she said giddily. I turned around and saw the Akala Island Guardian swaying in time to the music. It gave a tinkling laugh and noticed us. Instead of fleeing in fright, it stayed, circling us. "I assume this time it doesn't want a battle?" I said curiously. "No," said Liana slowly. She continued to sing, switching between songs. I brought out my vial and held it just in case it felt happy enough. I was correct. Tapu Lele began scattering pinkish, glowing scales that fell neatly into the tiny bottle. They transformed into a violet-rose liquid, as shiny as glitter. I hurriedly placed the stopper in it and placed the vial in Liana's backpack delicately. I noticed her voice growing hoarse and tapped her on the shoulder. Tapu Lele was not pleased that she had stopped and proceeded to hit her on the shoulder. It hurt to see her screech of pain. I shoved her behind me and tossed Snowy out. "Let's go," I gritted my teeth so hard I was surprised they weren't crumbling. "Use Hail!" Chunks of ice started falling from a gray stormcloud, but the Island Guardian didn't seem disturbed at all. It shot a Psybeam at Snowy and hit it squarely in the chest. My Pokemon was thrown back with a cry of protest.

"Now use Aurora Veil!" I called. A wave of multi-colored light rippled over it and it stood again. Tapu Lele giggled and swooped down, pecking its cheek. "Don't worry! Aurora Veil reduces damage from that attack!" I assured it. It proved true. But the Guardian was unrelenting. It fired Psychic attacks over and over, and Snowy was unable to dodge each one. I felt tears pricking the sides of my eyes until a familiar voice called out to me. "Never give up until it's over!" A smile wormed its way onto my face. Liana and Ash were so much alike. I needed to do this, for them. Snowy sensed my determination, and I gasped in surprise as it began to glow blue. Light swirled around it and it slowly began to do something I had dreamed of forever. "You evolved!" I gaped, staring at my Pokemon. "Tales!" it yelped to Tapu Lele. It seemed mystified, and that gave me enough time to counterattack. "Alright Snowy!" I shouted, using its pre-evolved name. "Use Dazzling Gleam!" Snowy leaped up and began to shine like the sun. Tapu Lele let out a shriek before falling, unable to battle. "You did it!" I cheered happily. Darting up to Snowy, I picked it up and twirled it around, snuggling close. "Congratulations!" Liana enthused. "Are you okay?" I asked, nodding to her shoulder. "Just a bruise," she stood up and transformed into an Umbreon. "Let's go! Tapu Bulu is next," I felt the sensation of being lifted up and giggled happily. Two down, two more to go. I thought determinedly.

Thank you for reading this chapter! I've always wanted for Snowy to evolve! I'm so sorry that this chapter was shorter than the last, but I couldn't think of anything else. So go ahead and do your stuff and I will see you guys later!
