Finally, I am updating. Thank you for being patient enough to read this chapter after a 'long' wait! ;)
Lillie's POV
We finally arrived on Poni Island, but by then the sky was already navy and stars began to twinkle in the faraway galaxy. "We need a place to stay," Liana said, looking around at the people-less land. I brightened. "I know a place," together, we made our way to Hapu's cottage and I knocked on the door. It swung open, revealing a girl with dark hair and a purple bonnet. "Lillie!" she greeted. Her violet eyes widened as she saw Liana. "Who's this?" she invited us into her house. "I'm Liana," she stated, as simple as the grass was green or a Glaceon was an Ice type. "Mmm," Hapu replied. "I suppose you'll want to stay here tonight?" she asked, her tone implying she wouldn't be surprised if we were. "Is that all right, even me?" Liana asked nervously. The Island Kahuna turned around and smiled warmly. "Any friend of Lillie's is a friend of mine. I'm Hapu, the Island Kahuna of Poni Island," she introduced confidently. Her green eyes widened and she nodded, probably wondering what to do in her presence. Hapu laughed. "Now, outside while I cook!" as quickly as she had invited us in she ushered us out. As we sat outside, bathing in the silver-white moonlight, I asked a question that I had always wanted to. "Can you Perform for me?" I pleaded. Liana stood up, her shadow falling across me. "Sure," "Leafeon, Jolteon, Espeon, and Vaporeon! Come on out!" Vaporeon called a Rain Dance and the five began to dance as Espeon lifted them up with Psychic. Jolteon electrocuted the clouds and thunder boomed along with their elegant dance. "Now, Sunny Day!"
Even though it was well past daylight, the sky seemed to brighten and the storm disappeared. A rainbow appeared as Vaporeon shot a beam of water in an arch in the air and Leafeon whisked a series of glowing Magical Leafs, which were destroyed into a shower of glimmering green sparkles with Espeon's Psyshock. I heard a rustle of a bush and slowly turned around, spotting Tapu Fini dancing along with Liana. It had gorgeous moves that made me want to stay, and I was hypnotized before I remembered I needed to bottle it and held a vial close to my chest. I memorized every elegant turn, every graceful sway, and I felt liquid battle to get free from its glass container and looked down to see a beautiful fluid, a mix of periwinkle and blush rose. Liana finished with a dramatic pose and I clapped, then showed her the closed vial. "You asked me to do that so we could lure Tapu Fini, right?" but she didn't sound mad. "No," I cautioned, being careful with my words. "I always wanted to see a Kalos Queen perform in front of me. I just suspected that it would come," "Girls, dinner!" yelled Hapu from inside the house. The warm air was a contrast to the chilly breeze outside, and I welcomed it as I spooned down the delicious soup she had made. I was surprised to find Liana finish faster, but then realized that our journey was over and we could heal Ash now. After we finished washing the dishes as thanks for our host, I picked up a thick glass bottle and poured all four flasks together. The liquids mixed and turned pure golden. Liana looked satisfied. "We just have to tell Ash it's Pinap Juice and he'll drink it up!" she chortled. It was nice to see her laugh again.
Liana's POV
We had just arrived on Melemele Island after staying at Hapu's cottage for the night. "Welcome back!" called Professor Kukui. We nodded and I tapped Ash on the shoulder. "Mallow?" he asked, an infatuated look on his face. I sucked in my breath and smiled fakely. "Yes, Ashy," I drawled in a voice that resembled hers. "Drink up!" I chirped, handing him the bottle. He stared at it like a baby and grabbed it, uncorking it and guzzling it up. The change was immediate. His eyes turned from hypnotized to my Ash's again. I cried happily and threw myself onto him. he buckled under my weight and we fell in a heap, laughing. He rubbed his temples. "What happened?" he asked. I saw Mallow giving me a very filthy evil eye and glared at her. "Nothing Ash," I looked at him intensely and leaned forward, kissing him on the lips. Warmth flooded through my body and I was safe again.
Technically I'm finished, but I have another ending! So stay tuned and thanks for reading!
