“Come on son, we have basketball to get you too” My dad looked at me and frowned. He called an hour ago to ask if I was getting ready. I lied and said I was. This was because my older brother and I had been messing around when he gave me a huge bruise under my eye and he busted part of my lip a tiny bit. My dad walked away not saying anything, but his aura gave off a big amount of disappointment. I walked to my room, which I shared with my brother, and I lay on my bed my older brother walked in and looked at me. “Are you good?” He said walking to his desk. “Does it seem like it?” He sighed and looked through some papers. “Mom’s coming home in an hour, dad wants to go out and throw, you wanna come?” He looked at me. I mumbled a no as he walked out of the room. He trudged off. I can't stand him. At that moment I promised to never be like my brother, or my father, or anyone like that in my case. I can't stand them. All they talk about is sports. I just want to sleep. So I'm gonna do that.
