*Kay's POV* (After The Fight)

I walked out the school listening to music on my phone. Currently playing was A Love Like War and as Alex's voice rang in my ears, my body seem to relax a bit.

I honestly don't understand why Cam won't just tell me why. We're completely honest with one another yet he can't explain why to me? He doesn't even have to go into full detail. Just give me a vague explanation on the real reason. If he wants to enjoy senior then that's fine. But why can't I do school online to stay home and take care of our kids? That just doesn't make sense.

Sighing, I continued walking down the street, not knowing where I was going. I'm just letting my mind take me where it wants. And I know what you're think. Why not go home since you miss Alex and Kalel so much?

The answer to that is Cam. He's why I'm not going because I know that's the first place he'll look. And once he knows where I'm at then he's gonna lecture me on how wrong I am and how I shouldn't have left. Even though just last week he did it twice. And I don't feel like arguing with him, plus I'll be home about thirty minutes to an hour before Cam is.

Soon, Nine In The Afternoon came on as I walked into a store. I was just gonna grab a few snacks and a drink before continuing my walk. But as I went to pay, I noticed a boy kept glancing at me. Sending him a small smile, I paid the cashier then grabbed the bag and walked out. But before I could continue my walk somebody grabbed my arm.

"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?" The dark-haired boy said.

"Sure. But only for a bit because I do have to get home to my boyfriend," I added the last part because I didn't know if he wanted to be friends or more.

"That's fine and if you're thinking something is gonna happen, let me just tell you. I'm gay so no worries," he said chuckled.

"Really? I have two gay bestfriends! They're engaged now," I told him with a smile.

"Well maybe someday I'll get to meet them."

"Maybe."

"But anyways, shall we go?"

"We shall." I chuckled.

I linked my arm with his before we walked off to who know where. Most of the walk we were laughing and talking, just getting to know each other. Somewhere during the walk, we decided to head to his house for a bit.

"So you're 16?" He asked and I nodded. "Cool, I'm turning 17 next month. If you want you could come, I mean if we're still friends by then."

"We'll still be friends by then. But do you have any special guy in your life?"

"Well.....yes and no." I looked at him confused. "We flirt and such but he's bisexual, and it's complicated."

"Well if you ever need help with anything, just ask me or I can get my friends to help you."

"Shawn and Taylor right?" He asked trying to remember from earlier.

"Yeah. But tell me about this flirt that you like."
