a few days later

"you sure you don't wanna get drinks with us? we're getting grilled pork too." grace suggested as she picked up her flute case, a couple of her friends waiting by the door.

i shook my head and smiled, "i'm okay grace, really. thank you though."

she sighed, "okay. next time?"

i laughed, "next time."

she gave me a smile and a wave before walking out the door. now it was just me left in the music room.

i heard the door open, i turned my body around to see the piano boy walk through, "is everyone already gone?" he asked.

"yeah." i answered. he was so cute, just by looking at him i felt my cheeks get red.

"do you mind if i stay?" he asked politely. i shook my head, "not at all."

he nodded, giving me a small smile before walking up to the piano and sitting down.

i had been strumming my guitar, playing a few notes before playing the choruses of different songs.

the piano keys began to play behind me, my back had been facing the boy at the piano as he played more.

as he played, i realized he was playing a song i never heard before. it was calm yet it felt like it had deep meaning to it.

i gathered up the courage to turn around to look at this boy, and when i did, he was lost in the music.

"i've never heard that song before." i said. he opened his eyes, the piano keys stopped as he looked at me. he gulped, "i wrote it."

"really?" he nodded. "can i listen?" he nodded again. i stood up from the floor, leaving my guitar and sitting next to him.

"'i need u?' that's what it's called?" i asked as i looked at his notes. "yeah...i haven't made up lyrics for it." he said.

my eyes shifted to the box of cigarettes, the lighter rested on top of the box, "play more." i said.

his fingers rested on the keys, beginning to move and play the song. it was so beautiful.

he ended by playing one last note, then his hands collapsed into his lap, he looked over at me and gave me a small smile.

i clapped my hands a little, "it's very good. you're a good pianist."

he chuckled, "thank you."

"what's your name?" i asked. "yoongi. min yoongi." he answered.

"nice to meet you, min yoongi," i grabbed onto his hand, shaking it with mine. "i'm yerin wang."

he smiled, "nice to meet you."

his hand reached up and grabbed the pack of cigarettes, he took one out, putting it into his mouth.

before he could light it, i took the lighter from his hand, writing my initials on the white paint. "this is mine now." i smiled.

his lips were slightly pursed as he held the cigarette in his mouth, his eyes big like a puppy.

---

yerin sat back down on the floor, resting her guitar in her lap.

she grabbed a lollipop from her bag, opening one and putting it into her mouth.

she then held the lollipop up in the air, "eat a lollipop to substitute it for a cigarette. i do it all the time."

yoongi watched yerin from the back as she began to play her guitar.

he took the cigarette out from his mouth, grinning as he watched the girl.

nobody had ever cared for yoongi's health like that before, and no one could ever make him stop his bad habit as quick as she did.

she's so perfect, he thought to himself.
