"Hey, ___, come here for a second please."

"Sure, Mom! Whatcha need?"

'Mom' held out a laptop to _____.

"I found this, use it wisely," she looked around anxiously as if someone may be watching, "it could be key in getting out of here."

"Rodger that!"

_____ took the laptop and sprinted off to their room to hide it somewhere.

Maki opened the door, her hair flowing to her side dramatically like she was in some kind of movie. I sighed, clearly thinking that this would be a lost cause.

"Ladies first." Maki said to me with a stupid grin on her face, while also holding open the door. I gave her a shove and walked to a table as she laughed at my response from behind. We sat down in a booth on opposite sides, she pulled out her laptop and flipped it around to face me. She had put all of her theories so far in a document, I read over all of them. They actually aren't half bad, yet none of them seem realistic.

All except for one..

I spinned the laptop back around to face her and pointed to the theory.

"This one."

"What about it?" She looked genuinely confused.

"It's the only realistic one, no offense." Maki didn't even seem fazed.

"That's fine, none of them are really normal anyways.." She looked away as she mumbled something else about Team Danganronpa.

"Maki," I started, "we need proof if we're going to go through with this."

She gave me this look, it was a look I hadn't seen in a very long time.

The look of determination and ambition rolled into one.

It gave me chills as she looked right into my eyes and said,

"Then let's get some proof, shall we?"

We spent about two hours scanning the internet for information before I had to call it quits. I admire Maki for her perspiration, but I already had a long day of work and I was too exhausted to do anything else. The ride home was quiet, way too quiet. The air felt thicker than usual, and it was an awkward feeling to be in. Yet I was alone in my car, no one was around. The weird vibes that were in my car made me a bit jumpy, so I turned on the radio.

(Nonsense Speaker; english subbed lyrics) (you can play the song now-)

These feelings packed

The car cruised along the road, there was a light up ahead.

inside my heart

The light changed to red and I prepared myself to stop.

One

My foot started to put more pressure on the brake as the car eased to a stop.

The volume of the song was low, so I spun the dial to turn it up.

I kill them off

"Of course the song has to be sad."
