Chapter 41: Accident

LAUREN'S POINT OF VIEW

"Where are we going, Aerin?" I asked her after we went inside her car.

She turned to me, smiling. "Just wait, Lauren. You will find it out later." She continued driving after it.

I still have no idea where are we heading to. Aerin just invited me to go somewhere after Ryu and I parted ways.

~FLASHBACK~

Ryu sat beside me. "I'm sorry if I didn't attend your graduation, Ava," he said.

I diverted my gaze away from him. Yes, I'm mad at him because he didn't go to our graduation were in fact, he promised me that he will come.

Also, I heard from Winter and Louiegie earlier that he and Aerin are together, and that made me so furious that I'm just wearing a poker face since earlier.

"Look, I'm sorry, Ava. I just did something." I still ignored him. I heard that he sighed. "If you are worrying why I and Aerin are together on her story, that's because we are together earlier and we did something important."

"What?! I didn't know that it's on Aerin's story. All I know is that you two are together. Why does she have to post it?! Is it that important?!" I want to say what's in my mind, but I just can't.

"Please, Ava. I can't stand your cold treatment," he pleaded.

I want to say to him that I won't be cold to him if he attended my graduation. Yes, it's just a Grade 11 graduation, but it's still an important event!

Our food came, so he didn't talk anymore. Saved by the food! Tito Jerome suddenly opened up a topic about Louiegie and Winter, and we just listened to them. Yes, I saw them kiss each other earlier, but I'm not in the mood to tease them.

After we ate, we went to the parking lot. The rain already stopped. "I hope you can forgive me, Ava," Ryu said, sighing before he drove his car to God knows where.

I am about to go inside my car when Aerin went in front of me. "Do you have something to do, Lauren?" I'm tired, so I just shook my head. "It's good, then. I wanna invite you somewhere. My friend needs help and I will help him, with you," she smiled.

I didn't have the chance to complain when she pulled me to her car.

She said 'him', so it's surely a boy. And I wonder who is he. But one thing is for sure, he's surely kind because I guess, all Aerin's friends are kind.

"We're here, Lauren." I looked at the place where we stopped and we're at an amusement park. It seems familiar. It looks like the amusement park at the London! But the difference is, we're in the Philippines right now.

"What are we going to do here, Aerin?" Instead of answering me, she pulled me outside. We went in front of the Water Splash and Aerin put a blindfold on my eyes. 'What are you doing, Aerin?" I tried to remove the blindfold, but she just tightened it.

She guided me to God knows what it is. "Just sit here." I followed what she said and sat on the place where she told me to sit.

She clapped thrice and a romantic song started playing. Even if I wanted to remove my blindfold, I just can't because I felt a presence walking in my direction.

"Remove your blindfold now, Ava," a familiar voice whispered to me. Only one person is calling me Ava and that's surelyㅡ

"Ryu?" I asked after I removed my blindfold. "What are you doing here? Why am I here?"
