Below the ground floor of the mansion, is a basement where Sakusa interrogates people that his father finds suspicious. His father passes all the dirty works to his son, knowing he still lacks the experience to order and discipline his people. 

Sakusa opened the door on the basement using a key that no one has but him. As soon as he went downstairs, he saw the man that was brought by his father earlier. His ring finger is still bleeding and you can see a lot of open wounds all over his body. Sakusa lightly tap his shoulders and the man lying on the floor slowly opened his eyes.

"Hey, do you want to take a shower before I treat your wounds?"

The man just nodded his head. Sakusa brought a tie cutter with him cause he saw that this guy has nylon cable ties that are wrapped around his hands, feet and even on his neck. His skin around the cable ties are swollen and almost turning violet already.

"Can you stand up? Do you want me to carry you to the shower?" Sakusa asked after cutting the ties all over his body.

The guy didn't respond. Sakusa then carry him on a bridal style and opened the bathroom door to help him take a shower. He undressed him slowly because he can see the blood that was dried from his wounds is scraping the scab off of it. Sakusa put the man down on a small chair and used the shower to remove the stains of blood all over his body. After shampooing and scrubbing his body, he carried him to the tub filled with hot water. 

"Do you have any allergies or something? I need to prepare a food for you." Sakusa asked.

The guy just shook his head and closed his eyes again.

"Don't sleep. You need to eat first before you take a rest."

A few minutes after soaking him on the tub, Sakusa carried him to his bedroom and laid him down on the bed. He grab a pair of clothes he brought earlier with him and helped him to dress up. 

"Wait for me in here. I need to prepare you food so that you can regain immunity to prevent infection."

As soon as the guy heard Sakusa closing the door, he tried to crawl to the cabinet, table, under the bed and back to the bathroom to look for a weapon that he can use to escape but he failed. All he can see are some pair of clothes, towels, soaps and shampoos, and pieces of papers and pencil. He went back to his bed giving up on his search. He roam his eyes around and unlike with the basement he is thinking of that is used to torture people, this basement is like a mini house with a bedroom, living room and a bathroom. He was also surprised with how Sakusa acted knowing he is seen by his father as one of the cops. He suddenly heard a knock on his door and saw Sakusa who's holding a tray with miso soup, grilled mackerel, zakkoku rice, kaiso, umeboshi, matcha tea, yuzu and a glass of water and also holding a first aid kit to treat the guy's wounds. He put the tray on top of the table and helped the guy to sit. Sakusa also fed him cause he notice that his hands are still shaking. After he's done eating, Sakusa grab the first aid kit and started sterilizing all of his wounds. 

"Hey, can I ask for your name?" Sakusa said while opening an iodine solution.

"T-tobio."

"Your last name?"

The guy paused not knowing if he'll disclose his real name because he doesn't even know if he'll escape in that basement alive, so what's the point of hiding it?

"Kageyama."

"Do you have someone waiting for you?"

"No one."

"I won't lay a finger on them if that's what you are worried about. It's just the two of us here so you can be honest with me."

"If you are really not one of the cops, I want to set you free as soon as possible so you need to help me too. Do you have someone waiting for you?" Sakusa added.
