Mal's pov

As i looked down at the bed,trying to hide my blush from him.Damm does he look so cute when he cocks his head."Oh you're at my house"he answered casually while looking at me with...care?At his house!?What was i doing at his house?Wasn't I supposed to be in the hospital?I asked him about that again,which he replied that while i was in coma,he had took me to his house to take care of,which the doctors at the hospital agreed as he graduated university at a medical student.I glanced up swiftly,wanting to get a glance of his face before looking down to the bed sheets again.( this so cringe help me plz)"But I could have stayed in a hotel or anywhere else besides your house"."With a feet like yours and you being all by yourself.If you got hurt who do you think will come and help you?Besides you're all by yourself.".I felt offended at his statement

He thought I was helpless?But...maybe i was,after all that had happened,i couldn't even prevent the love of my life from leaving me.Tears pricked my eyes as i looked around,not wanting to let Singa see this weak,vulnerable side of me.I swallowed down as I recalled what had happened.Then,without me really thinking,I blurted out"You know,you helping me does not make us even Singa."

Singa's pov

Her words hit me like a wrecking ball,did...did she think that i wanted to try to make up to her by helping her?Ok fine,maybe a little,but does she not know that after all these years,I still love and crave for her company?

Does she not know how much i'm restraining myself not to just go up to her and hug the crap out of her?I let my face settle into an emotionless mask as i struggled with my feelings and my instinct to just run away from this situation.As i closed my eyes in an attempt to calm down,then memories our time together came pouring in.
Flashback(no ones pov)

26th of July,1965.Exactly two weeks before Singapore and Malaysia separated.It was a typical day,with the sun shining down on the ground with a vengeance.The butterflies were hovering around flower fields and children were playing under the sun.Two south east asian countries,namely Singapore and Malaysia, were walking in the nearby durian plantation,hoping to find some of that delicious fruit.

Malaysia,being a little bored of walking around,tried to start a conversation with her boyfriend.

"Ain't the weather good Singa?"

"Hmm"replied the red and white country

"Weird there's usually a lot of durians here"

"Hmm"

"Singa what do you wanna eat for lunch?"
"Hmm"

Seeing that her boyfriend was not paying attention to her,Malaysia started to get annoyed.

"Singa,i'm cheating on you"

"Hmm"

"Singa i'm pregnant"

"Hmm"

"SINGAPORE IM LEAVING YOU"

That seemed to snap the country out of his daze as he grabbed his girlfriends hand.

"Wait,WHAT,NO STOP"

He yelled while desperately holding on to Malaysia's hand.

Satisfied that her boyfriend was no longer ignoring her,Malaysia frowned at him."Singa,what's stressing you out?"Singa,shook his head,clearing his thoughts as he turned to his girlfriend's concerned face with a strained smile."Its fine,Mal"he sighed as he rubbed his head cheekily.Malaysia,knowing that he was hiding something from her,frowned as she bugged Singapore to tell her the truth.

"What's wrong"

"Nothing!"
"Tell meeeeeeee'

"Nothings wrong Mal"

"Singa please,im getting worried"

"I'm just worried about the problems ok?"

"......."

"I...I'm sorry,I shouldn't have."The singaporean apologised as he looked down to his feet,a blush of embarrassment forming on his cheeks.Malaysia looked at her boyfriend's stressed-out,almost vulnerable state with soft eyes.

"Hey,its ok,i know you only want the best for your people"Malaysia said softly to Singa as he looked up to her with gratitude in his eyes."Thank you..."he whispered as his hand covered the distance between them,grabbing Malaysia's hand in his,Malaysia,feeling Singa's rough hand covering her's blushed madly as she let go of his hands,picking up a rock and threatening to hit him with it,while sil blushing from Singa's actions.(yes mal's a tsundere).This action,however,only amused the Singaporean a he stepped closer to her,trying to embarrass her.

"C'mon I know you love me,how about a kiss?"

Said the Singaporean,turning his right cheek towards her.

The malaysian,seeing that she had no choice,leaned in closer...

To hit her boyfriend with a durian she found on the ground.(ultimate twist of 2020)

"Ow!"yelped the Singaporean as he jumped back,stunned from the attack.

Malaysia grinned evilly at him,"that's what you get ana~"

"Oh now you're turning into Thailand!Game on!"Singapore yelled at him and picked up a small rock and started to chase Malaysia.

The couple played for hours afterwards,acting like there was nothing other then themselves and the love between them.
