Chapter 1

Gavin walked into the precinct, shoes noisily clicking against the cold flooring of the room. His gaze wandered to his desk, then immediately to Fowlers office. Behind the window he could barely make out a cyberlife jacket. Ah, Hanks unbearable walking tablet was talking to Fowler.
Speaking of jackets, his was on the back of his chair still. That's why he was so fucking cold on his way to work this morning. Grabbing it and slipping it on loosely over his shoulders, he heard a loud smacking noise that resembled a door opening.
Fowler looked at him from across the bullpen expectantly, calling him in with loud set of murmurs.
"Well? What are you waiting for? If you deal like criminals like you deal with coming into my office im afraid for our society." He called sarcastically, slamming the door after stepping back into his office. Gavin sighed, refraining from rolling his eyes.
"Wonder why he wants me in today, to warm up his vocal chords?" He muttered, pushing his chair in and making his way to Fowlers office. He felt a few gazes on the back of his head but couldn't bring himself to care, lazily opening the door and glancing over at Connar, who had been standing on the other side of the room.
"Trying to get me to reconcile with the oversized microwave? Not making my morning coffee or doing my taxes, no thanks. Send him back to the old hag (aka. Hank)." He gruffly muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Well, apparently your detective skills aren't very sharp, if you haven't noticed, this isn't Connor. This is-"
"A weird android stripper? Look, I know he's not for me, its not my bachelor party, but whoever is getting this... Ken doll... Won't be very happy about it, I'll tell you that." He interjected.
"No, Detective Reed, this is your new partner, RK900."
