What if this was his fault? If he was there they could've taken different exits, capturing the offenders and winning the case, stopping Nines from getting shot and-
"Gavin?"
He glanced up to see Tina, and, though slightly disappointed, greeted her kindly.
"Hey T.." He murmured.
"Look, I know today's been hard and all, but I'm sure Nines will be okay."
"Who says its Nines im worried about..? What if I was just upset about the case?" He retorted.
"I saw how upset you were when you were in the warehouse, I know you care about him. You don't think I don't notice you two becoming close? You would never let anyone else mess around with you or get upset when someone in the precinct got injured like that." She laughed a bit.
"Hey, I'm happy with it as long as you aren't replacing me as your best friend."
Gavin smiled a bit.
"Nah, T, no one could replace you."
