Gavin snatched the coffee from Nines hand as he arrived back, taking a sip from the light cup. It was... Well... Perfect, as anyone would describe it, but Gavin wouldn't let the android in front of him know. He tilted his head, simply murmuring an,
"Its alright."
RK900's LED went yellow for a moment,
"Glad to know my coffee making skills are adequate." He nodded.
"Well, just gonna stand there empty sardines can? You need to read up on the case, two people and a something-model android were taken from their homes yesterday, we're investigating it whenever we can get out of here. I'm assuming you don't have a car?"
"No, detective, I do not have any mode of transportation."
"Right, figures, guess we're taking mine, just make sure not to android up my seats or anything." He murmured, finishing his coffee and standing up, shoving his chair back a bit before beginning on his way to the door, another set of footsteps following him.

As they arrived at the crime scene the pair began looking around, Gavin making eye contact with a conventionally handsome officer that had been wandering around, probably running the show. He was a bit shorter than RK900 with fair skin and deep green eyes. Adrian, that was his name, it said so on his jacket...
He was taken from his thoughts by his android partner, who had been tapping on his shoulder for a few moments now.
"Detective Reed. Detective, we need to go to the scene. Detective? Gavin!"
"Hm? Yeah, yeah, and don't call me Gavin..." He murmured, brushing past the android. He wouldn't admit that he liked the way his name sounded coming from Nines.
No, nonono, he didn't think that, not at all, the off-brand ken doll was nothing more than an annoyance....
